Return Rare Map Markers Please.
" Well, thats fine but why not have the option to have both? Why the need to alienate a majority of the player-base by having either/or. Seems like an easy fix to just have a toggle option for players to choose for themselves. Win-Win in my opinion. |

the problem with the argument of "I want to look at the game, not the minimap" is that you can't see anything in the freaking game because there's 1000 clouds and VFX and spells and monsters overlapping in a cluttered deli fog fiesta at all times in endgame. I cant see anything in the game world in endgame. The minimap is the only way I even knew i was fighting a rare monster.

" PoE 2 design philosophy is specifically about avoiding these 'secrets', they want the game to be accessible to normal humans. They solved a problem, then deleted the fix for no reason other than that they changed the map completion goal which didnt need to be changed. There were plenty of bosses on the atlas by default, and you can add them with tablets if you want that content. This endgame patch was about making each map more deterministic, and one of the things they did was take away a very nice QoL feature that saves us loads of time. Walking around aimlessly trying to find somthing is not fun. Before you had to hunt on the atlas map for overlapping towers, now you have to hunt rares to make the most of your juice. They took away one time waste, and replaced it with another. One step forward, two steps back. |

Because certain rares are in the ground, sometimes we run too fast and lots of skill effect will missed it. |

who even suggested removing them? Do you play your own game? |

I hope they make a complete overhaul of the UI options in the future. The options we have are great but there is potential for much more. Just let me resize and move UI elements wherever I want. More toggles for map icons also makes sense.
