Unistalled Poe2 after another Viper loss on HC
" I don't want to stop playing hc. I find sc boring. I want reasonably designed figths. There is a ton of people who have issues with Viper fight so it's not like I'm the only one. I understand it's early access and it may not be an issue on final realese hence me quitting for now and hopefully I will be seeing you all later. |

HC is really great, but only for those players who don't bother to lost their characters. I'm playing HC because i like making new characters and like first acts much more than mapping gambler machine game.
Also HC assumes you're building tanky character instead just galss cannon which can die to random shit and carefully look for content you're running. While on HC i noticed so much cool design things i never seen in soft while facerolling over everything. Though if the death of a character upset you too much and maes you quit the game then this mode is not for you it seems :) Losing is fun. |

" +1 Viper is not hard after multiple nerfs. Still one of the harder bosses, but IMO she is not hard enough when you look at what she actually does. Fills the arena, chaos/poison, dodge checks you. It was great in 0.1 when this boss was really dangerous and had a lot of phases, but these days I feel like I can 2 phase her 1st or 2nd try with a decent SSF build. |

Yea i remember i was trying to kill her in softcore 0.2 with mace build for like an hour until 3 a.m.

Don't play HC if you don't know the boss moves or didn't get strong enough to ignore them. Plenty of people do her fight while not getting hit, all her moves are very telegraphed and she already got nerfed to oblivion so many times. If anything, she needs a lot of buffs

You have 2 options:
1. Learn the game on Softcore first before even touching the HC button. 2. Git gud an equip your character propperly before trying her on HC next time. Get more level, farm better gear, farm propper charms, get some Chaos Res, etc... Ofc if you go yolo Glasscanon into the fight you won't beat her if you don't know how to play her mechanics perfectly. |
