[Feedback] Casual player mostly negative experience

this league alone I have played 2 builds to endgame (level 90+) and am currently leveling 4 other characters for the fun of it. If you need a 100+ hours to play through the campaign you're doing smth. wrong...

And the fun is in creating you own builds. If someone just wants to zoom to get dopamine hits off of rare drops then they are gambling addicts imo and should not play games, but instead take care of their mental health.

Lost me at trash story. You, my friend, have not played a game with a true trash story if this is what you considwr trash.

I guess this is the type of people that ARPGs attract I guess; people that are 100% focused on fast, dopamine inducing gameplay, will diaregard anything that requires much attention.

This game has a ton of issues, but come on.....

Interesting that D3 on release and first time was pretty decent, but exactly the development based on such reviews like the OP made it that bad and drastical powercreep runied the initially fine game.

Im afraid that same can happen with poe2 as well

You couldn't be further from the truth. Thousands of hours in DS2 or BG series says something else. At the end of the day depends only about one thing - is the game fun or not... PoE2 is in state 50-50 now for me.

I agree with this. I play with at least 150% rarity on the map and sometimes I cannot see a DIV for few days in a row... Ground loot is ridiculously bad in this game, giving little incentive for players starting mid-league to play for long. All they find is already on the market for cheap (and merchants help with keeping those prices low). All the rare currency drops are just a droplet of water to the ocean needed for a high-end piece of gear.

I don't agree tho that blues are worthless, they can be quite valuable this patch. Blues make great bases too, just like exceptional whites.

What's the fun in playing a 150-200 hour campaign just to try out 4-5 characters each season? How many characters did you test in this league?

i choose my build and did prep for it before league start, that includes tree, and multiple act 1-3 lvling runns, if i like the playstyle i stick to it and just have fun grinding

- 0.1 i played storm wave invoker (alot more enjoyable then bells)
- 0.2 i skipped couse not really new content and booring league mechanic
- 0.3 la deadeye couse its fast and alot of fun (currently lvl 98)

I’ve played every diablo game. And 4 is the worst’s. d3 was solid in later seasons. But it doesn’t have such a built freedom as poe.

Trials are not fine, its a lucky shot, nothing else. I’ve bought carry at 0.1. At 0.3 I’ve been lucky and did it myself. But im sure about that i never ever repeat it. And also I think that isn’t right way of feeling from a game, isn’t it ggg?

Please go play LE, D3, POE1, D4, or Vampire Survivors.
This game isn't for you, and that's ok.

I work 9-5 and I can beat Uber Arbiter.
Game is fine, POE1 difficulty was way more harder. Never managed to beat uber Sirius or uber Maven.

Indeed trial of chaos is a huge disappointment, amplified by the fact that I am a Trialmaster fan. But its not too bad, its ok.

If u don't like something, it doesn't mean others don't enjoy it. Like the Trail, if I go for carries, even now, countless people are doing it.
(Did the first Trail 2 times and never finished it. I have 8 characters in the 90s and skipped all the Trails because I don't like them, so I CHOSE to ignore it. It is 30ex and 5 minutes for all 8 points, and you can even have them at level 20!)
So many people are doing the Trails, so it means they are enjoying it!

Poe has always been about choice. You will never enjoy the game if you run to do everything. Focus on something you like, and skip/ignore what you find annoying or stupid.

Some like the campaign and leveling characters, some want mapping, some want bossing, and some want crafting. I know a friend who stays all day in the hideout and follows the market, and makes divines with the currency exchange.

He enjoys this type of game.

However, your complaints are a far reach; you sound like those so-called tourists complaining all day that the world doesn't bend to your will! The F? Also, D3 is an OK game for casuals, but I, for example, have enough time to play something serious and not be done in 3 days with the new content.

That's why I play POE1 and POE2 and not the Diablo franchise!
