Hello there, i just want to send some feedback over my personal experience of casual player (with kids,job and family … sadly without time). As I titled it it’s mostly negative feedback because I want to pick up that things with is in my opinion bad. Game itself is amazing and I hope it will be better. First things first - experiencing and campaign For me as I played 0.1 last time, the 0.3 campaign is just the same. Same trash story. If there will ever be possibility to skip campaign in future I will definitely welcome it. Personally I hate to do that again and it effectively prevents me from starting new character. Experiencing itself since level 90 is much better than it was in 0.1. Sometimes there is a little bit angry points like that huge ape boss in act 3 with respawn checkpoint so near to him with cause kill or retry loop forever (simply impossible to run out). But overall until 90 lvl experience is fine. After that the xp loss starts to be frustrating and after 94 not worth to do for casual at all. Endgame Endgame’s content is repetitive but that doesn’t matter to me. The freedom of choice for map is very important for me. I like maps as savannah at others large scale or corridor-like maps like most towers. On the other side if I mustn’t do crypt or sun temple I avoid that, no matter of juice in it - not worth my time. Real troubles are come with abyss and other stuff with is so badly optimised. Literally trying to melt my cpu. And that is the point where i stop to progress. Overall performance of game in late endgame is horrible, much worse than it was in 0.1. Trials and ascendancy points gain Practically worst part of the game since release and it isn’t better in any way. Frustrating hardcore mechanic with is clearly about luck or overleveled and overgeared characters. Trials with honor system are absolutely hardcore only system with don’t have to be in softcore mode. Trials with random debuff of your choice from 3 possible each step are just about luck and nothing else. Time consuming RNG lottery. But it defines your class and for that I can say only one word - stupid. Gearing and crafting + market First: I want to thank you for in-game market. It reduces scam a lot. But Chinese currency farming is still present. And in combination with crafting seems to ruin whole market now. Crafting is for casual player like me just too complicated. Personally i don’t use it much because you need 3d party tools, switches from game still to see possibilities. Hours of learning how to, annoying chests tabs switching from essences to omens to currencies and runes etc… naaah. I know it’s effective way to craft valuable gear for someone who really understands it but for me as casual its pain and again time-sink. On the other hand crafting itself makes rares and blues from drop practically worthless. Only drops with matters are bases, + all spells or other + all skill / schools and currency iself. Uniques are not unique, just another chance chard in more slots. Other thing I don’t understand is pricing on market. Im in state where is impossible to progress. Price of every piece of equipment is in tens of divines. I’ve dropped since start about 20 overall. Dropped gear is a joke and farming lower currency is so time consuming to get a single piece, end of season will be sooner than I make it. At the end Im really curious about new 0.3.1 patch. Hopefully I will see some changes to better. A little bit don’t understand why ggg “normalise” sizes of maps and monsters density. That is step back to uniformity and for me ruining most funny maps like savannah. And that is all negative after 200h+ gameplay’s solo one single stormweaver… Make this great game even better, optimise performance and kick out scammers… Dernier bump le 29 sept. 2025 à 16:44:42

casual gamers have enough arpg choices... tryhard fans do not.. your complains make it look like that diablo 4 is a good game that would suit you
- crafting is a little to good this league and prob gets nerf a bit for next patch - 0.3.1 finally removes towers, best change for engame yet - trials are fine.. if you want to skipp them buy trial carry service - thes said next league 0.4 is more engame focused |

Trials are easy and campaign is not that bad. It's the repetitive endgame what's an issue tbh. |

" I’ve played every diablo game. And 4 is the worst’s. d3 was solid in later seasons. But it doesn’t have such a built freedom as poe. Trials are not fine, its a lucky shot, nothing else. I’ve bought carry at 0.1. At 0.3 I’ve been lucky and did it myself. But im sure about that i never ever repeat it. And also I think that isn’t right way of feeling from a game, isn’t it ggg? |

" What is challenging about luck for minor debuff? One attempt you have such a hard debuff wich makes it impossible enough for newbie or casual and literally another one you have luck and do it with your fighter in nose-hole… that is stupid |

" It's part of the ARPG genre since forever. It's that or a campaign-only game so they opted for BOTH, to please both so it's better than nothing or "endgame or campsign" only. Tech guy

I disagree with everything in this post.
Campaign is literally the most fun this game offers to me, trials are very easy and enjoyable to do. Also D3 was the worst ARPG ever created |

" Enjoy... " Yea, from start for sure. After 15 seasons it was much enjoyable than many. And its still much better than D4 now... But I understand and respect that opinion, everyone say it, mostly ppl who played it 100h an less or never. Edit: BTW D3 charts says now D3 plays twice as much players than PoE2, so why the "worst" ARPG ever is still more relevant than this now? 20yo game?
