Players need a 1 or 2 second invulnerability on spawn

As the title says, it's not a good experience and really there's no point in giving us retries on maps, such as the delirium raid, if you can't even respawn because mobs kill you instantly on spawn before you can move or attack.

Please remain me: We do not have in PoE2 invulnerability at all?
There is a grace period that exists for 60 seconds or until you do an action.

You have 60 seconds to NOT MOVE to orient yourself. The moment you move the grace period ends.

You are ruining your own grace period by moving before you know whats going on in the room
You're missing the point. The invulnerability for not moving doesn't help if the game chooses to spawn you in the middle of the pack of enemies and ANY action you take will cause you to be light stunned or interrupted before you can take an action.

I'd also be okay with them just updating the spawn logic to prevent you from being spawned directly into the pack of enemies.

When does the game choose to spawn you into a pack of enemies?

You didn't say where this happened, or how.

Instances outside of maps are not like that, because the enemies reset. Maps are not like that, because you re-enter through the portal at the start of the map.

You will also respawn at the last checkpoint, so if you happened to die right next to one it is possible to spawn with a bunch of mobs around you. Of course, you just dodge roll away... unless you're playing a glass cannon that can't handle anything breathing on them.

If you have a dc or a game crash you WILL be placed write at the spot were the issue happend, and if that was in a middle of a pack, you are dead the instant you move.
