Dont make the game any faster and easier.

Then they need to make monsters with the "slow methodical" speed in mind, otherwise fighting crackhead fast enemies will always result in the players looking for ridiculously powerful builds or Askin for speedups.

You can't have fast strong monsters swarming you like it's L4D only for the player to be stuck with the equivalent of Resident evil 1 movement.
Adding more 1shots you can barely see isn't going to encourage players to slow down. It's going to make them play faster and nuke screens at best, or quit out of frustration at worst.

Did we learn nothing about the problems PoE 1 has?
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

I have to preface this with: i am playing warrior. I am not zooming around with lightning arrow on a rhoa. Also i am not min/maxing anything. I dont stack rarity and i am not making tons of currency with trading. I am just playing the game and picking up what i find.

Still i feel the game is way too easy and fast. What do i mean by that?
After playing, poe2 overlay tells me how much time i spent on maps. The time i currently need to clear t15/16 maps (including all content like rituals, delirium, breaches...) is between 2 and 5 minutes. (And we are only 4 weeks into the season).

Considering that i am not playing a particularly fast build, faster builds can problably clear some maps in under a minute.

Why is that a bad thing? Because there is no challenge to anything. They have designed a lot of different monsters with a bunch of different mechanics. But i never have to interact with any of it because nothing can hurt my character and everything dies in one hit.
It doesnt matter if i fight normal map enemies or if there are delirium monster or abyss creatures. The only difference is that one looks green and the others dont. But in terms of gameplay there is no difference because non of the attacks are able to kill me and non of the monsters have enough life to survive anything i do.

Same is true for bosses. I really liked playing the campaign because at that stage of the game you have to actually interact with all the cool boss mechanics they have designed. Especially the Act 4 bosses are really cool and creative in my opinion. But in the endgame this doesnt really show anymore. You dont have to watch for specific boss attacks to dodge them. You dont have to "learn" the fight. Instead i just wait for the boss to finish his monologue and than kill it in a few seconds before it can do anything. That really isnt engaging gameplay. If i can do the same gameplay loop exactly the same in every map and against every boss, than there is really no reason to have different enemies at all.

Since the next season is the one where they want to really tackle the endgame, i sincerely hope they will adress this. The vision they initially described of poe2 being different and having more meaningfull gameplay really intrigued me. But the endgame right now really doesnt deliver on that.

This is probably a controversial opinion but i dont think there should be any build that can oneshot bosses. Not even map bosses. And i definitely should feel a difference between fighting different monsters. Not plowing through everything all the same.

Since you mentioned farming T15-T16 high difficulty maps, I assume you have a level 90+ character. And considering that a level 90 player has a maximum level of 100, being able to easily complete almost any content is the foundation of ARPG games. So, my friend, you're almost at the end of the game and you're complaining because the content is ending quickly. What's your build budget? I'm playing a level 93 LA with 80 divine spheres. I'm afraid to enter T15-T16 maps because even the slightest mistake can cause me to die. This problem isn't general; it's entirely your problem.

You need to go deeper if you want more challenge, get a map with deadly mods (less life recovery, burning ground, rare monster with more random mods), add 3 concentrated çiquid isolation, I think you will find the fun you're looking for.

Most people will stop playing soon after they feel everything is too easy because that's a fundamentally boring experience for MOST people. You can't expect me to sit and watch almost an entire movie just to get to the last good 15 minutes. That's not how things work.
