" You see no problem with a skill being objectively worse in function than it used to be, removing options and being pigeon-holed into using it in a specific way, like a pre-set build made for you? You didn't really address any point made. If you just want it for buffing grenades, you could do that before. Why make it the way it is now where you really can't do anything else with it? What benefits are there or improvements to making it the way it is now? I literally cannot see how anyone would prefer it this way, or what the designers were even thinking. |

" I didn't play it before. I play it now and I have lots of fun. That's all what matters really. If GGG change it in future, I will play it in different way or I will not play it at all. Yeah, you missed the point entirely. You can say you like it as it is now (which is something I could never agree with, as it is quite simply the worst designed skill in the history of gaming). But when poeple are saying they preferred it as it was, or it is much worse now than before, there's nothing you can add if you didn't use it before. I know how they intend me to use it now, and that is the problem.

What purpose it has now it didn't have before? The heat would buff grenades just the same. It felt like shit at first because of the delay in firing, that was a major downside in return for high damage once it ramped up. You could counter it to some extent with attack speed. But yeah the delay made it clunky and interruptable if you were dodging a lot or getting swarmed. But if I wanted to run around machine-gunning things non-stop I could. I could throw a grenade when I wanted, not on a 3 second timer or lose the use of the skill entirely. I know I still can with Armour piercing, but having more options is better than less.
The skill could have done without the delay, and still have disadvantage of needing to ramp up. Making it literally unusable was completely unnecessary. Idk, make it so it fires slower at full heat if you must restrain it for some reason, but why? Like this is painful to me. Even if you think its okay now, do you not think that it would be better without the potential stoppage? Throw a grenade when you want, instead of when you have to. Keep firing as much as you want, why not? Tell me one other skill thats says "okay you used that for 3 seconds, thats enough now, pls throw a grenade or wait 10 seconds to use again"? No one in their right mind can think this is a good way to design a skill and I'm still stunned it even got changed this way never mind that people are defending it. |

Crossbow skills ( except grenades ) are the most weak and slow skills off all weapons in game. Maybe it handle good pack of monsters, but in bosses sucks.
