Control market inflation

I lasted as long as i could but i can no longer keep up with the inflation, Time to end the season for me i think.

Interestingly enough, because of OP crafting this season there are too many perfect items on the market and not enough buyers, yet prices keep going up instead of down. Something borked

And 0.3.1 made it so farming is 100x worse, so people simply cannot keep up. You can't get currency to buy items, and you can't get currency to craft your items - bases are to expensive and crafting items are insanely costly now as well... It's insane how we have a great patch like 0.3, and then in a league of 4 months, after 1 month, it's completely ruined...
I only started the league in October and started mapping after 0.31 update. Made a ton of currency to the point where I got no more upgrades except maybe if I want to spend 1000divs for an item. No crafting or flipping items.

I made one character and stopped midway to lvl98 last week and have over 100 divs left in stash with another 20 perfect exalts and other stuff. It does have about 200% rarity though. All I did was run T15 maps with triple Paranoia and Breach, Irradiated and the unique Breach tablet which keeps the Breach open (so I get to kill more rares).

Character is Saiyan_EZ on poe ninja if you don't believe.

It's not a bad thing as non-perfectly rolled gear is selling for cheaper. Also it's pretty easy to farm divines at end game with the correct tablet/gear set up. did 10 maps today and farmed up 30D in less than an hour.

Just need some RNG and consistent mapping daily. most importantly have fun!
this is a non issue because everything worth selling this late is also 10 times more expensive.

i ran XP maps with 0 iiq and 35iir on my ring, spend~100ex per map and still making profit.. like 2,5 times the cost

currency drops are like 33% of the income(so i would loose money), charms and tablets do the heavy lifting

e: actually i've almost completed the next 100 maps, spend 12,4k exalts on them and i'm sitting at 18,7k exalts, 6 divines, 5 annuls and 46 chaos.. some loot still unid'd/unsold

This wouldn't change anything, the prices of top end items are based on how wealthy top players are and how much they can pay for it.

If currency would be easier to get, the inflation would go equally up.

What is the real fix? Slap the top end try hards that control the market and give them less loot, without affecting average player.
Massive inflation is unavoidable because there are almost no item sinks, and various currency items are less useful for their intended purpose than they are for trading (with no tax on said trading so currency never goes away)

Since the beginning of the first game it has always been their policy that since they really, REALLY want you to reset and play the new league every few months there is no need to design a real economy. That it also makes Standard worse is a convenient bonus.

Having an inflation this big disincentivize new players to join the league later on, it's really bad for the game overall

Lmao so you want to tax the rich? What’s your definition of top end? Above lvl90? T15 maps? Give loots penalty to those huh? XDDD
