Don't turn this game into Path of Exile 1
So...they've mentioned both, you know? They want the slow tactical combat but they also want the power fantasy in the end. So maybe enjoy the slow tactical combat until you hit deep endgame where you can bling out and become a screen-killing machine.

" I find this accurate. I played other games where you make combos or rotation and it usualy feel a lot more natural and smooth than here. I find some interaction very weird and tedious and so i just dont use them. I'm used to multiple button in other games so it's defenitly not that my problem. I find this game having very little amount of button needed even. It's just the design of the interactions between skills. I've never played any ARPG before so i cant make comparaison. SSF player

For me the only thing that really matters is one shots and visibility. Anything that can one shot you should be extremely visible and telegraphed. The game being too fast can make this more difficult to see/telegraph. No character with decent defences should ever die to a one shot unless careless.

If the game turns into a braindead 1 button masher I'm out.
The more tactical combat using combos, dodge rolls and synergizing skills and support gems to work together is what makes this game fun. You actually have to think now and then and react to monsters and situations. Really hope they stick to that concept and won't turn it into another POE 1... |

" No it wasn't. Did you watch development for years? They told us verbatim before 0.1 launched "Don't worry, the speed in endgame is very similar to POE 1" Their plan was always trudge through the campaign, then grow into a big boy who zooms and booms. It sounds like you should play the campaign, then log off. |

" The vision is simple "stop offending so many gamers". GGG has basically made enemies of "both sides" by making a game that starts as one type of game, then transitions to another type of game.. So they are walking things back and probably will prioritize us POE 1 players as we aren't going anywhere. Campaign was meant to be slow. Endgame was meant to be POE 1. Always was. Always has been. You new players didn't get the memo because you weren't here watching development for years. We were -- this is not a surprise at all, it's what they promised to a tee..
