still happening, got this just now 1st time experiencing this myself but its now 31st december this has been known about for months...

Can confirm, still happening as of 1st of January, 2026. Using Unearth at piano guy still activates the fight.

+1 instance of bug happening on the year of our lord 2026
used the Unearth tech, it unlocked the bosses but after killing both no loot dropped c'mon GGG, can you at least try to fix it after MONTHS of this being broke? |

still happening..... maybe focus on those things instead killing the league with dumb "hotfixes"

I was able to fix this bug by *walking* upstairs and back downstairs. I suspect it has something to do with the game being mistaken about what floor you are on if you took a waypoint from the 2nd floor down to the ground floor.

I just hit them with unearth and the boss fight started. Loot received.
