" No, modify and anoint are not two different things in POE1. There is an item, tainted oil, made specifically to allow you to anoint a corrupted ring/amulet. Just like there are other tainted currencies that allow you to modify other aspects of corrupted items. You cannot modify, which includes anoint, items in POE1 without a special tainted currency made specifically to allow you to modify them. That is exactly the same in POE2. This is your failure to pay attention, plain and simple. |
