I'm having really good time with my Amazon this league except the anime boss one shots and I hope they will never nerf anything about it.

i played this league with no meta chars.
bleed blood mage, and infernalist minions. the minions toon is level 97, the blood mage is 95... you dont need to plymeta build do get invincible, my strom mages are doing 186k dmg. my blood mage took half juiced boss life with 1 hit blood hunt. stop watching youtube, and play the game. |

" Blood Hunt 1 shot on blood mage was the strongest single hit build in the game last patch and still insanely strong this league. Storm mage minions is one of like two viable minion builds this league. I get what you are saying but those two builds are not bottom tier by any measure in strength. Do gas arrow chalupa monk or something to really prove the point. |

" On the point of minions. There are specters who afk clear simulacrum 3 and rituals in seconds. I got ultralisks to 2 million dps with dogshit league starting gear. The pinnacle boss farming was great with rakiata pierce cheesing. Unearth worked. Srs worked. 50k + max hit. Super safe. This league summoners are back to what they were in 0.1.0, even better. |

You can absolutely play off meta skills, unlike with the sequel every single skill is viable to varying degrees, the mileage you getting out of it depends on how much you want to minmax it.
But just playing normally, not worrying about gear much, every skill works just fine.. you might not delete screens with one button, but if that's what you are after then yeah, chase the meta. |

" That is wishful thinking but not reality. Unless you consider doing white maps "playing". There are very few classes and builds that are viable to clear T18 boss in acceptable time and finish maps consistently. If your build will be struggling half hour in the map, and die every other map, you won't be getting anything. And no one is talking min max here. We talk about build viability. |

What are those META skills you all speak of?
i tought the topic was about making all those shit skills, into decent or even usable ones. There is too many skills that when you use them earky or late game, you just look at the dps you got with them and ask yourself... why are you even using them.... Example its the Xbow ice shard garbage, frostboltw/o snakepit, frostdarts, Hexblast(specially because early on you cant even hex proprely) If the point of them existing its JUST for endgame, dont even give me the option to use them until the endgame! |
