Interlude Boss Azmadi is WAY overtuned

For real. Literally every attack he has is a oneshot, or close to, even post-nerf.
I have 1400 Life, 55% DR from Armour. This guy just blinks out of existence, appears next to me, and oneshots me. And it's not a slow, dodgeable blink mind you, it's a "nothing personnel kid"-blink. - He deals at least 3000 damage with that attack, mind you.

He offscreens you with at least two attacks, he is unhittable for like 70% of the fight, and the other 30% of the time he is chargine up a oneshot move.

To make matters worse, i have to slowwalk every single fcking try. EVERY. TRY!
Even worse, Leap Slam, one of my core skills as a warrior, is bugged in that arena. Who the fuck playtested this guy?!

This is just BS Boss Design. Whoever was responsible for balancing and testing this dude does NOT deserve a raise. He already would be hard enough if he dealt 50% of his current damage numbers.

I quit, at least till he gets patched.
"Hurr durr just get good" - first up, screw you, second, I have beaten every single souls-like. Being oneshot by a near undodgeable attack is not a matter of "get good" - it's bulls***

it's exactly the matter of get good. There is nothing wrong with the boss. You don't want to bother to learn the obvious telegraphed boss mechanics, so you automatically want it nerfed again..?

I like how you mention beating souls-like games, as if that means your complaining is valid. It's not 'near undodgeable' at all. Play better, learn the fight.

What's your actual armour value?

I had 5500 armour and 1300 life and was one-shot all the time.

I bought a new chest piece and got my armour to 10500 and then I could survive one hit.

He hits for 2000 damage (approximately) which means at 10500 armour, you'll mitigate 33% of the hit, resulting in 1400 damage.
I'm trying to make new builds and this boss is a wall.
I had to look up what boss you were talking about. I made three chars this league and all of them just stomped every story boss. The obviously nerf'd all the previous ones which is a shame.

I don't think that boss ever hit me or died so fast they didn't get the chance.

The fight is even easier if you use "raise shield" as many of his attacks are blockable. You can keep a random shield in your offhand with steadfast gem if you don't use a 2nd weapon set on any character.

Make an effort to learn the fight.

This was the only problematic ability that this guy has imo, i dont even know if this ability still exists or does the same amount of damage because on my 2nd and 3rd char i killed him in like 4 seconds. in maps he dies almost instantly too.

This is a weird high damage auto attack that seemed to track to where i was dodge rolling to 100% of the time.

You don't have to be perfect, but you need either a good build or good timing.
SSF Rise of the Abyssal Ice Strike Invoker, high survivability and fast clear speed. Deprioritize armor and resistances; prioritize crafting a weapon and faster start of ES recharge. Build is shown at level 47, end of Act 3. It tore through Act 3 like butter.

I have to disagree.

I died to this boss in HCSSF on my first play through in 0.3. And I have no hard feelings about it because it is such a well designed fight.

Best boss in the game, if you ask me. I am sad they nerfed the tracking of his triple slash already.

Unlike most fights, the boss has multiple dangerous mechanics. It is very satisfying to practice and perfect the fight. Most other bosses are just damage sponges with no real threat.
