POE2 SOUND PROBLEM ON PS5, DON'T LET THIS TOPIC GO DOWN

why is this not in the high prio list ?
This make the game unplayable for many players. So far i see here in this thread its an problem for months.

I agree. Crappy sound on PS5. Even with low sound chans. Since abyss.

Can confirm, annoying crackling sound on PS5 Pro playing necromancer.

This has been a consistent issue since PoE 1 on consoles. Incredible that we still have this going on. Please fix this. It's bad enough that Abyss infested maps turn into a slideshow, at least let me listen to the loot drops that I'll see in the next slide.

As the still occuring audio issues on ps5 are similar to audio artefacts coming with too low buffer sizes and limited cpu power. Therefore I am disabling processing intense things in the game options.

I set CHANNEL COUNT to LOW and unselect the REVERB ENABLED option.

Now the sound seems a bit better than before. Still not good but not as painful.

Please still rush the fix GGG!

Today I died several times because of this sound bug. Honestly, it was already there a year ago. In a whole year, nothing has been fixed. I guess I’ll wait for the release, and for now I’ll go play the game that started the genre. It may be worse in some ways, but at least there’s no such careless attitude toward players, and issues don’t go unfixed for years

Fix means: rewrite crappy engine, crop stuff that no player needs, focus on stuff that every player needs.
Kill PoE2 and directly skip to PoE3, use all the effort you would need to make the current mess somewhat playable and instead invest to make something ground up designed for consoles with a PC port - because that is the proper order of things.
Consoles are not a hardware mess so it should be easier ...
Ranting, because ignored with the mundane answer of "we know and we will have a look at it", which means "we dont care, you already paid for things we make you require to be able to play. or you didnt pay so we couldnt care less".
