GGG, Please Don't Shoot Yourselves in the Foot (AGAIN)
i'm not gonna go into much details...i'm simply gonna ask you a question...
WHAT DO PLAYERS GET AT/FOR REACHING LEVEL 100? and i'm not asking this as simple gain like passive points of stuff...i am literally asking "is there a reason to grind up to there with how much work (maps) it is, as opposed to not having a solid reason to do it..." leagues usually have massive player count in the first few weeks (until the "big boys" (those players that play kill 'em all builds) finish doing the achievements (gotta kill that maven 1o.ooo times) and decide to leave...) Not To Mention...YOU ARE LIMITING YOURSELVES, my dear GGG... Sooo How About THIS as a solution to all those issues: 1 - ditch the XP penalty for dying...or (like in diablo) give the player a chance to recover it...though personaly, DITCH the XP penalty 2 - THE BIG BOYS CLUB PROJECT as soon as a player reaches LEVEL 100 he/she gains access to new game modes (for guilds it could be like 5 lvl1oo members + add guild only lvl100 content), like for example: *"FLOOD MOUNTAIN"* - Raid - up to 4 parties of up to 4 - 6 players. it's a competition featuring 2 modes of play. each party starts the game at the entrance to a steap ravine that travels uphill: HERO mode - each party competes against others to see which party will arrive first to the top, where a specialtype of boss awaits them. along the way each party must pass through s set of watchtowers (3-5) and defeat the boss there. these mid bosses are chosen randomly from ALL the bosses in game and no two watchtowers can have the same boss (making luck a factor). the party that kills the special boss in the keep wins MARTYR mode - a reversed version. the players still start at the same place, but must now "Hold The Line" while unlimited monsters of ALL shapes and sizes are pouring out of the ravine. behind the parties is the army of mages that is casting a super duper defense spell but they need time or some such. for every army mage that dies, the time needed to finish increases or some such thing. the point is NOT to survive (though it is possible), but instead the point is in which party lasted longes before dying. *"LAST FORTRESS"* - Base Defense - up to 4 parties of up to 4 - 6 players. it's collaboration mode of play. the partes are tasked to protect a special SHRINE (looks like one) from an endless onslaught of enemies of various shapes and sizes. the shrine provides some kind of advantage to the players in acertain radius (like affecting monsters with maim & hinder). unfortunately, for each 1% of damage that the shrine suffers, the radius of the shrine's AoE shrinks by 1%. victory or defeat is decided around the safeguarding of the shrine or some such... in conclusion...LEVEL 1oo EXCLUSIVE CONTENT INCREASES YOUR (GGG's) OPTIONS IN REGARDS TO CRAETIVITY, AND GIVES "The Big Boys" AN EXTRA REASON "To Stick Around" AFTER THEY COMPLETE ALL THE ACHIEVEMENTS...just think about it... No reason to make a game "pointless" until level 100, as turning a level 100 into something regular.
So, no. Bad idea. Dernière édition par PantsuFaust#0269, le 7 août 2025 à 12:02:42

Hard to tell if this is sarcasm.
Raids/forced party content belong in MMOs. |

" nothing. many tried to explain this in 'XP loss threads'. I'm happy for you that you reached it but ... well.. that's it. Let this thread be a warning to everyone advocating for abolishment of XP penalty. |

No. XP Death penalty must be higher and mobs overall more tough. I'm not trolling or joking. That's always good to have challenge amd its motivate more to overcome it. [Removed by Support]

" I think you misunderstood me. Reaching lvl100 should be something you aim to do, not something you actually get to, because when you do, well you find yourself in the exact position you are in rn. |
