I understood you interpreted his date notation of 29th of August (8.29) to be in the form day.month while his locale (wherever that may be) apparently states it in the form month.day. It's not a typo, but region-dependent. And if that was not your implication, then feel free to disregard what was a harmless remark. This is still a forum, right ?
