Failing a corrupted nexus feedback

You're saying the corrupted boss doesn't respawn if you die and respawn? That sucks. I haven't had that circumstance come up, I was running the map with 6 modifiers and when I died - that was it. I went to bed and logged in this morning to try it again and you can imagine my disappointment when I saw that the corrupted nexus was gone. I actually spent a fair bit of time going around it to activate the towers in range first before running it.

I am realizing now that if the map remained with all the juice, it could become exploitable where players could juice up the map, run it, intentionally leave the map incomplete, and then just run it repeatedly with all the juice. I think the best solution would be to clear the map of everything else *except* the corrupted nexus modifier.


Yeah its in bug reports quiet a lot. Im a bit mad that it is not fixed at all. Its such a grave Bug. If they dont want you to respawn why does the wayston distinct modifier limit allow it?

For the second part. It doesnt have to retain all the juice, but you should at least be able to finish your quest in the corrupted nexus. If the Boss stays in the area it doesnt matter cause u finish the map anyway if you kill him.

I agree. I guess this is the nice thing about joining the beta like 5 months after it launched. I am bringing fresh eyes to things and adding validity to things that people initially brought up months ago.

I feel that either Corrupted Nexus should not spawn on a node with a map boss or dying to a map boss on a corrupted nexus node should not remove the nexus since you have to kill the boss to get to the corrupted nexus boss. The biggest chance of this happening is when you first get to mapping and are working to gear up. If you get unlucky and your nexus is on a map with a nasty boss there is a high chance that the map boss could kill you and then even with chances left you are now stuck trying to find a new nexus to get your first atlas points. It is not a fun feeling.

Or do it like the Elder bosses in the original POE where when you get to the boss the Nexus boss kills it and replaces it as your target.

Your issue is that you put 6 mods. It's doable with 4 mods. If you run the corruption for the quest, just play it safe. Craft a 4 mods with nothing too hard.
Imagine that it is still same at 0.3 :D. What a shame I didnt played at 0.2 season I started on 0.3 did played quite well. Setup my nexus + 4 tower area died to nexus boss(I didnt know there was a one shot mechanic of that boss and he was invulnarable at %15 health). Lost my all setup for this and now quiting the season nice feature GGG.
I think it would be best if you simply couldn't pick up any loot in a map until you complete the objective(s).

You either

- get a loot explosion when you complete the objective(s) where you currently are
- find all loot in a special box at the map device after you close the portals
or
- have a pet that follows you around and picks up everything that drops and you can only take the items you want from its inventory when the objective(s) are complete

Big QOL update that also prevents farming of juiced maps.
