[PS5] Cannot send or receive party invites – no notification shown
|
Hello GGG Team,
I’m playing Path of Exile 2 on PlayStation 5, and currently unable to send or receive party invitations. Even when I invite other PS5 players via the in-game Social menu, nothing happens—and when others invite me, I receive no notification at all. Here are some additional details: Platform: PS5 (PlayStation 5) League: Dawn of the Hunt Party invites do not work either way (sending or receiving) Notifications are enabled on both my PS5 and PoE settings We are all on the same league and realm Restarting the game does not fix the issue Multiple friends are experiencing the same problem. Please investigate this, as it’s preventing any cooperative gameplay on console. Thank you very much! Dernier bump le 23 déc. 2025 à 22:32:32

Check your ps5 account settings. And activate interactions with anyone

We’re experiencing the exact same problem. Both my husband and I have tried everything we can think of. We’ve adjusted all our privacy settings to be as open as possible—communication with everyone, cross-play enabled, team player active. We’ve restarted our PS5s several times, restarted PoE2 multiple times, and even cleared cookies. We’re in the same league, can send and receive friend requests, trade items, and visit each other’s hideouts, but we can’t send or receive party invites, which means we can’t actually play together. We’ve been troubleshooting for hours with no success. It really seems like this is a PoE2 issue that needs to be addressed.

Same. Ps5.
Can’t party up with my brother so we are just hideout warriors right now. Please advise. |

To create a party, I found that if I start a Public Party, then my friend can join the party, then the party leader can change the party to a "Private Party".
This is how we are getting around the issue. |

Also been having the issue

|
|
check if your playstation account privacy settings there is a "crossplay invites" option , mine was disabled by default, turning it to allow solved my issue.

My buddy and I have this problem. We've played with the settings to no success, though the issue sometimes goes away on its own.
We have noticed that when we try to invite eachother to the game through the console, our systems think we are not playing multiplayer games. Finally, have also done the public party work around. Whoever is party leader can then change the party to private after everyone has joined. |
