It was never a mistake. Blizzard removed it (along with many other things) because they sold out to the mass so small things like unidentified items get removed otherwise casual andies gets annoyed because they don't understand why it's here.
What's next? easy leveling to 100 without penalty "because Blizzard did it?" No, PoE1 & 2 are niche and hardcore games reminiscent of old school games that doesn't care about what zoomers wants in 2025.

Great quality of life changes and loot adjustments, including some that I had suggested, like the breach splinter vacuum.
Hope the team is working on the bigger changes that are needed (doubling down on strategy, chase items, depth to endgame, finishing story) that are needed to make this game go from decent to great. There are also a few mechanics that have been introduced in 2.0 that need continued and more iteration -- I'll share those in another feedback post.

+1 it doesn’t add any variety to the gameplay it only causes frustration when you forget to activate the well and have to teleport back to town again.

When is the final release?
I just want to relax and enjoy Standard mode — I’m a casual player with limited time, and honestly, I couldn’t care less about what the hardcore crowd thinks.
It's frustrating that all our progress in EA Standard will be wiped.
Please just drop the full release — finished or not, it’s already fun and totally playable.

Why are you fiddling around with little tweaks. Is it because the steam rating tanked? How about finishing the game first? Then maybe putting out some PoE1 content, and then you can tweak things all day long.
I'm glad things are being changed but it feels like the wrong things are being prioritized here.
You do know that there is an Active game that you are supposed to be supporting that you are just sort of ignoring right? Because that feels real bad right now.
Honestly you guys should have never split the game, but that's another topic for another day.
GGG doesn't owe POE 1 players anything. They made a new game, that's what they are working on, get it through your heads.
