What's the point of recombinator?

I completely understand they dont want us to be combining 4-6 god tier affixes to make the ultimate piece of gear.

But i feel at least combining 2 strong high tier affixes should be very approachable with limited risk, maybe 75% chance of success

That would be the only way to actually "craft", 2 good affixes doesnt make a perfect god tier item, i would consider it the bare minimum for endgame

I never enjoyed that part of the game. Always hated crafting. Hopefully johny's, "only use one unique" comment doesn't ruin any fun I will have in the game. That and the retarded mana costs.

That's where I am, too. They seem to want to make a very tedious game with some downright archaic systems (like what passes for a trade system) and RNG piled on top of RNG on top of RNG to actually get good gear. They can absolutely do that, but I sure wish I hadn't spent money on it.

Given the Steam reviews, I feel we're not alone in that, at least.

Like why so low? Neither of those traits are high tier, hell one is t3
