Very true, but it still gives many people a sense of "giving their feedback in the *official* forums". It's really just a necessity of community management, not necessarily an actual feedback mechanism (besides bug reports usually).

And agreed, having an actual discussion is next to impossible. I see this in myself, I pretty much just stop by here when being very bored or having trouble sleeping, just because it's so mentally tiring trying to understand some people's reasoning... better than any sleeping pills ;)
