Why do the Devs have to shiv you every time?
" Everything is easy. Players want a lot of QoL things and want devs to respect players time. Meaningful progression, minimum dead-end on the maps and campaign, good loot, good craft etc etc. All this confronts to "the Vision". The Vision equals "The game hunts player". That's it. You made one mistake? You dead. You made wrong choice in building a character? You punished. You are not lucky enough with gambling? Your only option is trade. You don't have enough currency? You stuck. This game in current state has more punishing mechanics than something that makes the game FUN. Dernière édition par dissonance90#3107, le 28 avr. 2025 à 05:16:55

I joined poe, mostly because of the endless possibilities, people praised at least poe1 for.
Yeah, it is possible to travel to another star system, too. Boredom is the only endless thing so far. Campaign is great. Thats it. btw..endless turns out to be like 5 when it comes down to possibilities... |

" not gonna lie. it does feel like that. |

Without Ziz interview you wont even have had a 0.2c patch....
The interview was the fuse for a flurry of patch and deep answer from Mark. Jonathan, not so much. You can bet that without the buzz of the interview we wont have had any balance change until 0.3. Just like they didn't change anything in 0.1, waiting to put all the change into 0.2, even if it means THEY DIDN'T EVEN TEST THE PATCH BEFORE GOING LIVE WITH IT !!! People tend to forget how bad and buggy 0.2 was when released, they launch a patch with no access to one the three new Ascendency !!! GGG have no quality control, no pre-lease testing, basically no actual test of the effect of their change in a controlled playing environment. They really entirely on guess work and statistical simulation. That's crazy. Did anyone told them the difference between an Early Access and a Test Server ? The game is supposed to be unfinished but the content released in patch are supposed to be tested and working (even if unbalanced). Dernière édition par IKerensky#7242, le 28 avr. 2025 à 10:09:59

They are pretty well aware of that.
The marketing team had other plans... |

For some reason everything in PoE 2 needs to have a downside. Even though downsides are inherently not fun game design and I don't even see the point in them lmao
Also they were just as stubborn with Archnemesis and wanting to keep it in the game, even though its objectively bad for the game and just creates annoying enemies to deal with. Like why do I gotta swap my gem setup to single-target if I see an archnem mob with resist auras and extra life etc. etc. etc. its so boriiiiiiing |

Ya its like getting a backhanded compliment. like miss me with that BS. You cant just give me a passive gem that boosts my damage, there has to be a BIG downdside? like why?
