Not greedy, they just decided to reduce their potential income not increase it.

I hope your right but I doubt they will ever go back on a change like this once they realize that some people probably panic bought the game so they could play. Companies like this tend to prioritize the short-term gains over any possible long-term success. That why games like this tend to end up abandoned during development and never finished.

Can you start posting on Bluesky, not just Twitter? X is a really toxic space right now, and I'm trying not to use it. I regularly see people on the platform attacking basic human decency and vulnerable minorities, including those that me and my loved ones belong, and it's frustrating that if I want to see updates for this game I have to use a website that not only platforms these sentiments but encourages them.

I am less engaged and less interested in Path of Exile because of this; I see the updates and content previews less than I would have in the past. I do not see information about hotfixes or upcoming features that would have me excited to play. This correlates DIRECTLY with news only being posted on a website with an owner hellbent on attacking human decency.
