This is such an amazing game if you stop meta chasing

Used to be like OP

After being done atlas passives and Arbiter i cant muster the enthusiasm to keep playing. theres not really any aspirational content, no chase items, all endgame drops are basically worthless now. Time to replay the same bosses on higher difficulties with nerfed characters, no health pool, dying to one shots and losing entry-tokens or getting drops that don't even pay to access the boss. Whats the point? There's basically 0 viable defensive strategies other than 100% mechanical precision, no nodes for health, grim feast is gone... no idea why they chose to do this to the game

The entirety of the endgame is designed specifically around supermax 1-button meta uber-blasting and nothing else. Prove wrong show your atlas.

Seriously, if you go slower,
stop joining parties that want to blast through everything at lightspeed,
stop envying YT videos blasting faster,
and most importantly stop one-shotting bosses,
it's an amazing game in every way.

From a game developers perspective, you spend all your hard work, designing something challenging, and it IS sad, that so many people rejoice and celebrate in insta-deleting that content.

They KNEW about LS, and primal strikes, and wind serpent. They set it up for you, for you to discover. So imagine their reaction with all the initial QQ about "spears no damage waaah". And now "LS meta so boring waaah". I dunno man, if I was GGG I'm just shaking my head at the masses.

BTW the white mob meme on reddit was funny but also true. The monsters in this game deserve a fighting chance, because they are really well made.

Yup.

Whats even more eye opening is even if you play meta, you are just as far behind as everyone else who isnt.

You think you are even remotely close to the top end meta gamers? Lol. It requires an unhealthy amount of devotion to the game.

You are so far behind those players that it wouldnt matter what skill you use.

So the argument quickly falls apart as most people are so far behind what the top end juicers are doing with the skills that they may as well play what they enjoy. Rather than meta.
Mash the clean
Complete classless freedom and most decide to be fixated on their ability to get to or do T15's and just be obsessed with max stats on trading sites.

I love playing this game and I'm figuring out all I can sensibly and I'm going to have a unique Monk that specializes in not being a Monk and I'm going to be proud of it :)
Same.

I think this what the game is targeting as well.

I refuse to look up builds or do any sort of exploit. Only play ssf. Anything else it trolling the game.

I actually think its disgraceful to the genre that there is a trade. Its actually disgusting. Go play a stock simulator.

I'm shocked how many people just copy builds and want to play a non-interactive game. Its actually mental. Its a real problem... and how is that fun?

I would absolutely hate that as a dev. It wouldn't happen. Shit would get nerfed so fast, lol.

I've watched videos of people doing the typical never see a monster while zooming. Its just dumb.

If you only have fun while doing that, you may as well type in cheat codes and go nuts. You're just using bugs to do it anyways.
this is a great post to stir the pot, lol

I was actually having a lot of fun building up my spark again even with the massive nerfs to it but LS dang that's so over tuned, I just hope they didn't mean to release it that strong, it's a little nutty.

I don't know if these people weren't around early last league but it started WAY slower for everyone I know, I'm surprised at the people who are crying "but my dopamine hits from when exalts/divs drop!" I don't understand why those people don't just modify their loot filter to add the schwing sound to aug orbs, they'll get lotsa dopamine if that's all they want lol

They didn't release it that strong. The community moaned and complained that it wasn't strong enough - so they buffed it like the next day. Now the community is moaning that its too strong. Literal children.

GGG is fighting a losing battle with that stuff. They need to focus on the game they want to make and if people don't like it - there's the door.
I love the fact the game takes a little brains to work with what you got to make your stuff good. And when they change things, I get to do it all over again. It's not bad at all.

It's this very point that makes the complainers complain. They will dress it up as 15 different complaints, but it ultimately all boils down to them not wanting/being able to use their brain just a little. They all complained geonor/jamanra were too hard, but refused to acknowledge that they needed more res and regen. They complainers that they never get to upgrade gear because mobs don't drop stuff, but refuse to check vendors or gamble. They all literally just sit there waiting for streamers to tell them what is good and then just play that. They all say ls is the only viable skill, yet I think only 1 streamer is even playing it currently?

so so we're really pretending the same people who wanted buffs are the same people crying for nerfs?
