" OP's proposal is nothing more than a modded version of PoE2. Everyone has opinions. Realize that you are only contributing an opinion and not facts. "Easy mode" because boots have implicit movespeed and resistance penalties aren't implemented... BECAUSE that's what makes the game hard? [Removed by Support] I'm okay with people sharing their ideas for the future of the game. [Removed by Support] Dernière édition par Vash_GGG#0000, le 12 avr. 2025 à 23:42:17

"Man please just let me have POWER, I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE" the post.

" I'm a "troll" because I stated EXACTLY what IT IS? You'll get over it. That better Vash_GGG? It's nothing more than a large reduction in numbers on enemies and a large increase on yourself, that's the epitome of creating an easy mode. I got the sauce. POE2 enjoyer. in all seriousness, we need a way to skip most of the campaign on subsequent playthroughs
This is pretty common in ARPG's with lengthy campaigns, I'll bring up Last Epoch here since its modern and relevant - they have a key system where you can use stashed keys on a new character to massively skip ahead on the campaign by about 50% or more by taking a locked path from certain areas. You still have to do certain bosses and milestones, but you skip the filler. I think its an elegant solution for players who want to play lots of alt characters, and I sincerely hope GGG implements something like this soon. The only thing keeping me from playing an alt is the sheer boring slog that is dragging a twinked out new character through the campaign. |

" I personally believe skipping quality content is a waste, regardless of if a person has done it so many times before. I think what adds to the drag of campaign the most is the loot restrictions, ie certain items like 'Prismatic Ring' you can't acquire until at least after Act 3. I would propose all items being accessible if you've already made one character to End Game and yellow monsters and bosses through the campaign being almost as rewarding as End Game with Hunters having a much higher chance to transform bosses for added loot and excitement incentive (The hunter NPC buffed one of the bosses in my campaign and it was a crazy experience I was happy with!). |

"Yeah, no. Of all things never happening to this game, this will absolutely not happen. Ever. Respectfully why don't you go and play something else? It's okay if certain games aren't for you and there is no shame in moving on and playing something else. |

" For me to play something else? This is directed at me? If you read the entirety of my post and correctly you'd know that I'd happily play this game with twice difficulty level as it is now! |

Let’s be real, this kind of “easy mode” isn’t going to happen, and there’s no real justification for it.
The game is already in an extremely easy state. SSF, which is meant to be the most challenging and self-reliant mode, has become a walk in the park. You don’t need meta builds, obsessive grinding, or even deep game knowledge to clear content anymore. Just picking reasonable skills and progressing naturally is enough to finish the campaign and reach solid endgame. Currency and item drops are so generous that it’s absurd. You’re practically tripping over loot. And let’s not forget, trade leagues already are the easy mode. You’re basically playing an item editor game. With minimal effort, you can get perfect gear through trading, skip progression hurdles, and trivialize challenges that SSF players actually have to earn to a degree. If someone’s struggling with this level of difficulty, then PoE probably just isn’t the right game for them. That’s not gatekeeping, it’s just facing reality. Not every game needs to cater to every player, especially when challenge and mastery are core to its design. If this post is trolling, it’s well-crafted bait. But if it's serious, it’s asking for something that would completely flatten an already generous difficulty curve and strip the game of any meaningful progression. GGG has already pushed accessibility and ease about as far as it can go without gutting the identity of the game. Asking for more hand-holding at this point isn’t just unnecessary, it’s counterproductive. And honestly, if an easy mode like this did get introduced and people still struggled, what’s next? An “easy-easy mode” with smiling monsters tossing loot at players in a rainbow colored theme park? At some point, it’s not Path of Exile anymore,it’s just Path of Participation.
