disconnects all the time

Seriously sort your servers out this is a joke now. Always on a hard boss too nice one GGG
Game is a mess man, constant disconnects among other big issues.
tried playing agin

disconnect in karst
now in the underground bit afdter - was a long way through
They don't even seem to acknowledge this.
picked game up today first area i run ... right at end ... check map to check i had gotten everythign ... disconnects ... will have to rerun whole thing

i cant imagine this is just me
me and a friend played it yesterday, we got about half way through act1 and got disconnected maybe 3 or 4 times i think?

each time the instance itself was gone, we were rolled back lost items etc. so its not our games crashing its obviously the server right?

i should probably do the bug report thing... yeah just dont have time to be a game tester tbh, cant be fucked. i guess they must know already and are working to fix? maybe?


i dont have much energy for computer games right now. either it gets fixed in the next week or so or ill probably just not play til the next big league reset.

BTW thats what started me off on a new char because my other char finished it and dc before asvendency taken

today has had less disconnects - but its still a thing

I ended up buying a weapon in act 3 because couldn't get one to drop or craft anything.

That is despite taking 2 weeks ... Marginally more damage sucks - buying a weapon that doubles it makes things so much better.

When we get stuck and already have a weapon with decent rolls but its not enough how are we to find more power? Its act 3 ... perfect strike and leap slam - its forcing us to change build to whatever is strong at that level. That is the same thing as having no diversity. I think last time i got there i went into an aftershock stun thing with fissure.

I hate buying weapons from trade - that the game has make me do that suggests that crafting isn't working out. either need more tools to get strong weapons (which would be preferable) or need a load more to drop with currency to craft which atm is tedious as fuck btw. do the maths on how many items to transmute and then regal to get 2 solid prefixes ... its painfully low ... so wtf would anyone do that?

There is a concept in architecture called the pit of success. If we use patterns and constraints it makes it easier for people to take the correct approach by default. Its why type systems and a bit of governance. Here the pit of success is to say 'fuck it what if i go on trade, enter my level, weapon type, limit to 1ex and then sort by damage?' result: 5 mins later you have fun.

Even being able to buy bases types would help ... infinite 2 hand maces of a specific type and level ... so i can spend the currency i have.

It took me half of act 3 and some of 4 to find a white chest piece ... vendors were all magic.

... back to the point ... i bought a thing, because it is the equivalent to buying fun ... I don't want that to be the way i choose - i want to problem solve in game.

That then trivialised game until act 6.
Have to say though ... playing the game like that was soo much more fun than the sufferfest that was before. Being able to kill stuff and not have to redo zomes over and over makes a huge diff.

Its taking me 1.5-2 hours per act of actual in maps playing time - thats excluding hideout time.

Its just too long. I'm not at maps yet ... in poe1 im in maps by sunday after launch. I then play for 2 months.

This i play for 2 weeks, im not in maps and tbh im going to stop and play last epoch for a bit.

I have gotten bored of slam -> boneshatter action with an occasional hota.
There is no fucking way im investing 12 hours in another character.
