Should Mark be the front face?

I wonder why in the world he would have been defensive and looked worn out? Maybe it's the relentless attacks on the boards and the unbelievable short sightedness of the players that cant even give the devs a week after a patch to make tweaks or give the game a chance before screaming.

It's one thing when there are stability issues and flaws that cause the game to not be accessible... but we're talking, in most cases, about people whining because they aren't getting to play how *they* want to and trying to bully GGG into what they want. I get it, people want this to be better, but there is such a thing as constructive criticism and feedback and jumping to calling a game they've spent years "trash" and metaphorically calling for the head of the lead dev on the forums isn't appropriate behavior as a consumer, let alone a person.

This is a game. Let them do their jobs and leave them alone.

So you are pleased with the quality of the offering?
Did I, at any time, say that I was pleased?

I said give them a chance to tweak and smooth out the rough edges and giving constructive criticism instead of screaming because we didn't get everything RIGHT NOW. It's been a week. It's a game. It's not the devs fault some people's entire identity is rolled up into this experience and they can't differentiate between a finished product and an EA.

Everyone knows people are upset. Bullying and screaming is not what adults do when they want to affect change, it's what toddlers with no self control do.

And for the record, I've played every night since release and while there are some areas that could be improved, I don't have a problem with the game because it's a *GAME*. I can just go play a different game if I don't like this one. I can just go play half a dozen other ARPG's if I don't like this one. Again, I don't support everything that is happening. I don't particularly care for the disparity of class power, as an example. I don't particularly care for the difficulty of melee or the fact that there aren't meaningful bladed weapons in the game... but this is, and I cannot stress this enough, NOT A FINISHED GAME, and I am a grown adult with other problems that are WAY more important than whether or not the pew pew happens fast enough to demons in a video game.

And I'm a frustrated middle-aged man who wanted nothing more than to be Lex Luthor but has to be content with destroying the world through video games, but does that mean I have to settle for low-quality, half-baked offerings from studios who know better?

I guess it does. Superman can go suck it
Superman CAN go suck it.

We can agree on this, my friend.

(we probably agree on quite a bit.)
