Parry-ing a hit should NOT remove Wind Dancer stacks - why would player want to defence on purpose?

Bump

You should only lose wind dancer stacks when you actually take damage.

I get where you coming from, but these things are not always working by normal logic. I mean, why can I start bleeding from a hit when I have ES? Why does armor reduce hit damage if I have ES? How can I be poisoned by a hit if I have ES? How can a skeleton bleed or be poisoned? How is it possible to hit a spectre with a sword? Why do frozen enemies get stuck in mid air like Stanley Ipkiss in "The Mask"?

It is not about logic, its about design.

GGG designs their Evasion archetype (currently Spears) to combo skills with Parry, either to enable a skill or apply parried debuff etc.

If I do that, I'm not going to have Wind Dancer' stacks at all, they will constantly be removed by Parrying.

Current interaction of Parry and Wind Dancer discourage from combo gameplay.

There is no alternative for Evasion based Aura, only Wind Dancer.
