New Support Gem
We have added a support gem called Inhibitor that prevents charges being consumed but increases the damage of the supported skill by 4% for each type of charge you have.

UPDATE: We've since found that the implementation for the increased damage per type of charge to not be feasible in the timeframe that we want this support gem to be released, and the core of the design of the support is an important tool to get into the hands of players, so we will be releasing it without that stat present.


I think this solution sounds elegant, but overlooks that you can only use this support game once. I would like to be able to disable the consumption of charges from more than just one skill.
Monster Speed -> just give the player an extra base +10 to +20% movement speed and an extra +5% faster attack/spell casting base. This will fix most issues
Don't really like how Eye of Winter has so much setup. I liked frozen orb in d2, but in this game it feels clunky to use. And because the base damage is so insanely low the setup doesn't feel like a bonus either.

Imo either remove all that and just give it 400% more base damage, or increase it by like 300% and make the additional setup things a much smaller bonus so it isn't mandatory.
Great to hear about the monster speed changes, this is exactly what I imagined, decrease speed on some of the fastest enemy types and/or make them appear less often. There should still be enemies that swarm you in the game, but it should not be happening all the time. Maybe introducing more CC options for classes that need it (Huntress) would help as well.

One thing I am still missing is fixing the fact that certain skills like disengage are aiming automatically at the nearest enemies, which makes you miss the parried one when there are more enemies surrounding you, because the parried one is more often than not not the closest one. Please just let us switch this off and make disengage hit in the direction of the cursor, it will improve the feel a lot.

Prolly good changes, but I wish they made some of the on death effects evaporate faster. For example the blood pools, some of the frozen land stuff. Especially the wide blood pools and you actually having to wait for them to go away for many 10 seconds or so frustrates the life out of me.

Luckily those are not there always.
the responses so far have been very good and the Interview yesterday with Ziz was a good move, keep going.
