Do you want us to hate this game?

Same here, ssf warrior and for me there's loot. Not much, I don't regal and exalt everything I find but I can feel progression. Things are dropping, vendors sometimes have really nice gear too. But I'm not racing anyone, I don't mind farming for a bit areas or mini bosses or guaranteed rares (for example these two next to camp in infested barrens in act 3).

I'm not saying RNG can't be a bitch, it definitely can but I don't believe it can last over whole acts. At least that wasn't and isn't my experience in POE2.

We used the entire weekend with my friend to set up a LAN for this new league. So excited for the improvements we were expecting. Well, it was another shit-show.

We played through 4 acts together, it was sooo slow, and got absolutely nothing from those hours. The drops we got:
- 3 exalted
- 5 regal
- 2 chaos
- 3 uniques (absolute garbage ones)
- 0 usable weapon drops
- 1 usable shop found

How the fuck are we supposed to progress and make ourselves weapons and equipment, when we DON’T GET ANY and WE CAN'T UPGRADE THEM?

Are you counting on us buying them? Well, that doesn't work either, because WE DON'T GET ANY CURRENCY.

We fought Doryani for soooo long, and he dropped one exalted orb ad 2 normal items :D Two players, 1 exalted orb.

I remember a quote that GGG had somewhere: “If players aren’t using orbs left and right, we have failed” (or something like that).

Well, you have failed! And this game is close to unplayable. Fn stupid.

Ready to give up, flip this garbage dev team a finger and move to another game.

unplayeable i unistalled cant even play or use the skills i like because deal no damage waiting for poe 1 new league if its come i can say in 1 week this game is under 30k players
Yall keep saying the same thing, and I keep saying I'm checking the vendors after every level up. So is my friend. And we just don't get anything.

And I personally like the grind. But to a point. Yesterday it just felt pointless. The game does not reward us at all. And even if there was a promising magic item in some vendor, we don't either have the gold to buy it or a single regal or exalt to use on it.

The drop rate is god awful. 1.5 exalts and 2.5 regals per player after 4 acts. What kind of a game designer / dev would design something like that? And yall defending this crap is absurd. If the progress of the game relies on random vendor drops, there's something fundamentally wrong.
Agreed. Usable loot and currency drops are atrocious. Almost non existent.

In general, after decades of playing ARPGs, this 0.2 patch/league is by far the worst ARPG experience I've ever had. Every single aspect of the game feels infinitely worse.

This picture sums up how the majority of players feel about the current state of the game.

At this rate I feel like SSF should just increase drop rates, with a disclaimer that anything you find during SSF play will be account bound if one migrates. I would actually play SSF with bearable drop rates, but it just feels like such a pain to find upgrades in this game.

I have to give credit to PoE1 because last time I went through campaign I found it relatively easy to keep up on gear, using essences and alchs on white bases was surprisingly rewarding and I was using gear in campaign that I stuck with in early maps.

You guys got really bad rolls I got 3 exalted in act 1. That is the problem with loot that base number of drops is low. a slight variance and the rng can hurt you.

The game coudl solve that by droping FRAGMENT , including of exalted.. in larger umber so +1/-1 does not feel to hurt so much
The currency drop in the game is really low. The developers don't give us good things, expecting us to create them ourselves. But we can't create things without currency.
From Russia with Love
Well they said in the stream each player should use those orbs to equip a new gear and progress in the game .

How would this currency drop split on 5 players in the party . How can 1 guy with equipped gear carry 4 other people when bosses and mobs all are x4 harder .

They are fixing the game on a solo side and not fixing it for parties.

Those 'tips' are all no-brainers.

Due to all the complains here in the forums that "the game is to hard" obviously not...I myself follow them and can't relate to all the complains at all, was a very comfortable & fun ride for me so far. :)

Trying to create a custom build requires a certain degree of game knowledge that not everyone possesses, guides are a safe bet for such players.

Nothing wrong with guides...I talk more about those who probably pick some endgame guide and complain why it doesen't work with a LVL20-30 char and blue gear. XD

Following guides for the first couple 100 hours is a great way to learn most of the mechanics of the game and I did so aswell in POE1.

Always upgrading skill gems is poor advice, sometimes a skill should be kept lower for mana cost reasons or stat requirements.

I thought it was obvious that I talk about the main attack skills, not about the handfull utility skills like "Blasphemy" where people know that anyway....but I'll correct it, so it's clear for everyone. ^^

RNG is RNG.
If upgrades aren't dropping there's nothing you can really do about it. Telling people to use vendors is all well and good... if RNG provides the vendors with upgrades.

I belong to those who have rly bad RNG....I'm currently Act2 Cruel and half of my gear is still blue (but good rolled blues). ^^

But instead of complaining about bad RNG I do what I do for over 2 decades now in ARPGs...I farm previous areas with good mob densities or rewarding encounters, till I find enough decent gear or farmed enough level to beat the next challange on my way.

The problem is that people nowdays are not used to go back 1 area and farm it 1-3 times to prepare themself for the next boss f.e.....Due to bad & trivial ARPGs like Diablo 4 they're used to a very linear progression and see it as something negative if they hit a wall in the game and have to go back to the previous area to farm there for 20-30 minutes, so they can easely beat the pending challange. ;)

Check the vendors every level up, even the ones in act III (jungle ruins/infested barrens) you could be missing out on giga stuff.

SSF warrior here as well.

0 issues with loot/gear

Same here. SSF Huntress without issues.
