Dawn of the Hunt - What We’re Working On

The Smith of Kitava's Anvil Temper thing is very cool...

But also utterly useless as is.

Change it from 4 empowered hits, to a 60 second buff that makes ALL hits in that time cause fire explosions.

Who on earth wants to spend 10 seconds in the middle of or before each battle applying a buff for 4 hits that get spent by accident in less than 10 seconds, only to have to repeat the same action over and over?

The bonus damage is utterly pathetic as is. If it were a duration buff it would acceptable as it's just a damage booster, but for 4 hits it should be incredible damage. It's not incredible right now.
If the "vision" is the hill you guys are willing to die on to kill your game. That's your choice, bury that grave deeper then.
No waystones T15 in the endgame maps as mentioned in the patch list. 1st day it was working. but not since yesterday , wtf ggg ?

..Normally when this is the case, the main reason is due to other concerns such as monster life or player damage being incorrect, or just a lack of entertaining content in the area.

What ?
This is the stupidest sentence I've read recently.
Zhar, Class:Marauder, League:Default
Everyone is acting like their hair is on fire, but the game is fine. It does desperately need some tweaks around the margins though.

Items

Nerf weapons some and put more power into the passive tree or skill gems. This would serve to bring the floor up and I'm 100% positive that is why we're seeing a giant amount of variance in the feedback between the people who have gotten gear or know how to obtain it and those who don't. It's too skewed right now.

In PoE1, you can get through almost the entire campaign with a new weapon base and whetstone recipe, or by getting more supports because support gems give you a vast amount of power. I appreciate PoE2 is making non-damage supports a valid option, but you've removed too many ways of scaling that isn't items, especially early on.

Zones

It's quite obvious where the outliers are if you are actually playing the game. Act 3, especially basically every zone in the 2nd half of it, feels way too large. It's a combination number of monsters, lack of interesting things to find, poor signposting and map discoverability radius (it's easy to miss an exit and spend the next 20 minutes wandering around) and yes.. sheer size. I don't know how you can look at Utzaal and go "yeah this is fun and a reasonable size."
I would really like to see the damage output from parrying on huntress and using it for combos to be buffed a lot as presently the pay off is not worth the set up. The constant light stun from mobs is infuriating. I'm ending up spamming rake in campaign atm and it's not really what I want to be doing but the combos are simply not worth it atm.

The huntresses melee skills should feel chunky and strong and the in and out gameplay should be STRONG. But right now it's not feeling good enough. I really like the concept and hope you improve it.
So, everything fine as is in this great sequel, so you can work on the original again, right?
Jokes aside, I did not expect much from this 4-month patch, but this is a disaster.
And while I am here for long enough to remember the past, this is absurd.
At this point, just rename this nonPoE sequel and keep PoE as is.
Time to wake up, just like ruthless, noone wants this.
Enough of this vision, time to act wisely.
All-time non-streamer luckless dropless rewardless tons-of-time-playing non-TFT-er 100% solo player.
So, it just turns out, we were lied to for years with the promises of a two-storied one PoE 4.0.
All these worse and worse beta leagues, all these braindead changes, all lead to this.
I like the parry mechanic but it feels way to clunky. It needs some aoe range so it "catches" some hits, otherwise moving slightly causes mob attacks to just miss and you end up standing there like an idiot.
The game feels so uncomfortable to play, it's really disgusting. And after many hours of struggling in campaign where I barely took any critical damage I was insta killed when opening essence with skill that has no indicator and was cast literaly at me. I'm done with this, Last Epoch let's go.
Genuine question, I don't know if you guys respond. If you feel one of the reasons for large maps not feeling good is lack of content, why not make the maps smaller until there actually is content? Also many places have an absurd amount of dead ends (such as caves, Act III areas). Will you add checkpoints to all dead ends? Or maybe a "No outlet" sign please?
