What is a good IIR and IIQ?

What I dont understand about these people that talks about kill speed is that, you are in on way changing weapons....

the slots that takes IIQ and IIR has no relations with chests or the weapons, it's all about if you can cap the resist and still have enough life to survive and kill things faster.

I personally kill lower lvl mobs with IIQ gears, so this way its waay faster and you still have more drops.

Well let's imagine for the sake of doing this easier that you have 200% rarity and no quantity. You would get three times as many magic, rares and uniques only. Then we look at 75% of each this will give you roughly three times as many magic, rares and uniques and 75% more currency. So we can conclude highly favoring one is bad less bad with quantity though. When in doubt though sacrifice rarity for quantity.

Oh and the more balanced rarity/quantity you have the more you should sacrifice damage to get more. 100% of each equals 4 times as many magic items, 200% of each equals 9 times as much 300% of each is 16 times and so on. It's the opposite of mf in diablo 2 here it gets better the more you have.

Or am I wrong here?

Well, if IIQ could be had in equal values to IIR, then IIQ would always be better, because IIQ actually increases currency drops, whereas IIR has no effect on them at all.

Also, stastically speaking, if you double the number of things dropped, you have twice a chance of a rare. So 100% IIQ = 100% IIR from that perspective alone, and IIQ trumps the IIR on currency.

Last, but not least, is the fact that 100% IIQ will double your chance of seeing a natural 5L or 6L drop, whereas IIR has no effect.

Other than those comments, I won't say what is "better".

The only answer people can agree on is "it depends". To me, if I couldn't tell the difference without looking at numbers, it's not worth worrying about. Play an hour one way... play an hour with it changed. If you don't notice a difference, quit worrying about it.

Let me explain a little bit of calculus to you... if you're anywhere even remotely close to a maximum, you're not going to notice any difference in small changes. Make a change. If you notice a difference, change again. If you don't see a difference, stop. You're close to max.
