It is not made up.If you think that release dates of 2 genres of similiar genres not gonna hurt smaller and less popular one - you are lying to yourself.
This is asbolute objective truth - PoE2 and LE overlapping will hurt developers of one game more than other. Stop lying.
P.S. And yes i know that EHG delayed LE season.Which proves my point even harder.

We don't need movement skills. Im tired of just no brain dashing through maps. And im not alone, proof for that is that most people says that the best part of poe2 is acts/campaign, where you don't just zoom through maps in seconds. And btw you have poe1 if you want zooming.
