Did yet again...with no counter play and nothing to learn
Did yet again in breach...with no room to grow for my character. I am maxed out in terms of power, but GGG in their infinite wisdom continues to say "we want slower gameplay", but we're going to throw so much shit at you on the screen you are going to have no idea what is even happening. Great balance there.
The only reason I'm still playing this game is because I'm in school and I'm too poor to go out and do something else. The second summer comes and I'm working again, I'm done with this game. They truly just don't know how to balance a game. And for all the gas lighting, the seasoned players have explained many times that is the way it has always been. A handful of builds become viable in high play, and the rest are trash because you can't instant clear a room, and GGG does not care because that is how they want it. There is no reason any character EVER should be so strong that you can instantly clear a room. This type of gameplay is what killed Diablo 4 almost instantly. There has to be a power cap somewhere. If you hit it, you hit it. Enjoy that. If however they allow people to instantly clear a room of the hardest content or anywhere even close to the hardest content, what that causes is for players to scream "there's not enough end game content" because there's no challenges left. A gaming company cannot keep up with that type of demand. They can't just keep giving you more power. There has to be a challenge to the game or EVERYONE will stop playing. You are one of the few spoiled ones who would quit because you don't get unlimited power. There are MANY abandoned ARPG's for you to go play that give you the over powered feel you crave. Go play one.

I dont think the OP is complaining about infinite power I think he is pointing out that he cannot see what is going on and that has lead to an unavoidable death hence his frustration and feeling of being cheated.
He has a point unless you have instant or super fast clear speed you are dead alnost instantly doing breaches or rituals Other posts have pointed out PoE1 mechanics and fast endgame dont fit with the slow character design so its kill or die..die very quickly Thats not really about infinite power its about the game design or lack of it in endgame As for other games, well one is trying to adjust the difficulty that will possibly lead to an unachieveable endgame goal IE. doing a max level pit. The only reason they were doable previously is because of bugged builds. Even so the better visual clarity and options for movement/reposition made unavoidable deaths not really a thing, u mostly died because you lacked the defences/dps to handle the mobs so would eventually die not insta gibbed from out of nowhere or was trapped Dernière édition par tarloch#1873, le 15 mars 2025 03:35:27
