Level 100 for casual players reachable?

after 750 hours I reaches lvl 98 almost. I see discussions about a balance patch end of march and ask myself if there will be an economy reset too. If so I hope about a bit easier way in the future to reach lvl 100. Personally I hope there will be no reset until at least the ladder is full of players which have reached lvl 100.

so if theres 10 players total and tops only 10 players and 99% will quit game never resets ?

They went with the D2 model of having the monster level stop at a point where the last few levels take an insane amount of grinding. I personally never went past 95 on d2 until they added terror zones in d2r, which made 99 an achievable race like it is in PoE1. Most builds are set up nicely by lvl 92 or 93, but it definitely feels good to max out your level.

my question is, is the last 5 level worth ur time =? the last push for extra 1-5% overallpower vs month job ?

I think level 100 is something that just happens as you head towards other endgame goals, which at that point has to be +4 bosses and top end gear.

I have less hours and have multiple level 90 characters. They could just simply make 90 the max level but 100 sounds cooler and gives you some sense of progress in the last 500 hours of your character. Even though you've gotten almost nowhere gear-wise you can say you got a level or two.

lvl 92 is not even near halfway to lvl 100.

I don't think you realize how steeply the amount of exp needed per level increases.

EXP needed
Level 95: 2 billion 867 million
Level 100: 4 billion 250 million

So level 95 is just 68% of the way to 100

How much exp you have at level 92?
