After 1000 Hours "Learning" the Loot is not enjoyable.

With Div being 4x higher than a month ago, new players joining this game just actually cannot afford to ever get anything close to end game gears because the ex they pick up is worthless. Given the rate of how someone is picking up D nowadays and how anything decent is at least 1 to 2 Div and up, players who are new to trading is gonna get smashed so hard....

GGG is very stingy with loot and currency drops. Thats how they get you to play more and keep playing.

What they dont realize is that when the gap becomes too big for what you want and what's attainable, most people will quit.

Most mid gear is doable and you dont actually need over 20 divs to complete a build. However, inflation and later in the game it can become harder for newer players to catch up.

ya if i were new to the game, there is 0% chance for me ever to enjoy end game content now given that the only way to get there is by having a massive amount of D.

I cant just no life grind for 6-12 hrs at a time...so i spend two days juicing towers to get a few maps up to like 150% quant, toss in a 150% rarity 120% rare monster map, with my 430% character rarity... maps gets my passive boosts, doubling it to 456% quant... i spend an HOUR sifting thru all the trash loot, not a single divine drops. Just a bunch of garbage... why am i playing again?

That's not cheating that's just the way GGG designed the game, everything is also harder to kill and has more life/damage mitigation.

That said a good character blows through everything regardless cuz the game is easy af.

I'm talking about follow bots not as a player who follows but as people that use other clients with bot which follow him, it's known function and it is a bad design where cheaters have upper hand over normal players.

I don't see any changes coming in 0.2 that are going to improve things, guess I may as well move on to other games.

Im 100% with this take.

I like having an economy and trading. But it is clear that grouping is an absurd advantage. You would think it's shared good but it's not. I'm sure the botters and cheaters already know that and use multiple bots to join their game. And the bots would only have to follow them and do nothing if the main char is very powerful to clear t4 simulacrum.

I play solo all the time and got most of my stuff by trading. I did however also get some good loot but clearly not as much as what I've seen from certain players that are looting 10 times my loot.

Yea, the game literally makes you feel stupid for playing alone. It's pretty demoralizing.
