I am getting so confused by all this manufactured outrage people are having for an unfinsihed game.
The weekly patch only fixed bugs that caused game breaking bugs for some people- and that somehow means GGG has abandoned everything?
It's not "manufactured outrage"...your expectations are just too low. It's not entirely your fault unless you continue to refuse to see reality. It is not acceptable for a Trillion dollar company to release a defective "unfinished product" and charge customers money for it just becaue they simply use the "COP-OUT" label of "early access".
Do you think it would be acceptable for an automobile manufacturer to release a new car next year, but try to dodge accountability for its failures by releasing the car slightly ahead of the scheduled release date and just telling customers their vehicle is "early access" so wear your seatbelt!?
And furthrmore, which industries should be allowed to label broken products as "early access"? Some? All?
You could just not buy something that says Early Access.
I wouldn't buy a car that was only 50% done, yet alone pay for it knowing full well it isn't complete, and then complain it doesn't work like a 100% completed car. Very few games do I buy in EA. Most of my friends are currently waiting for full release.
