just make a chinese only realm and don't allow chinese players into the other realm, they will be able to cheat again later anyway, no need to change. But how about not letting the botwaves contaminate the rest of the economy?

Hope PoE 2 takes botting seriously from the start. Some games have used Easy Anti-Cheat, but it didn’t do a great job at stopping bots, and they eventually had to switch to something like BattlEye. Would be great if GGG skips that trial-and-error phase and implements a strong anti-cheat system right away instead of fixing it later when the economy is already messed up.
PoE 2? "It’s not just PoE 1 with better graphics."

Dear POE2 Official Team,
Hello, I am a Chinese player of Path of Exile 2, and I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue that is currently affecting the game's economy and overall player experience. In China, there is a widespread problem involving the use of automated scripting tools by both large-scale studios and individual players. These tools allow users to automatically farm in-game resources, often with a single player operating 20 or more accounts simultaneously. This has led to a significant disruption in the game's economy, causing prices to crash and making the items earned by legitimate players virtually worthless.
This issue was already prevalent in the first test server, and unfortunately, it seems irreversible at this point. However, I urge you to take strict measures to address this problem in the upcoming 0.2.0 version. It is crucial to actively monitor and suspend accounts that engage in such activities. A swift and decisive crackdown will deter these users from investing further in automated tools, as they will no longer see it as a viable option.
As a regular player, I, along with many others, find the use of these automated scripts extremely frustrating and detrimental to the game's environment. It severely impacts the enjoyment of those who play the game fairly and legitimately. For POE2 to remain popular and successful in the long term, it is essential for the official team to take a strong stance against such practices. If the situation is managed effectively, we, the players, would be more than willing to support the game by purchasing cosmetic items and other content, thereby contributing to the game's financial sustainability.
I sincerely hope that you will consider increasing the manpower dedicated to monitoring and managing this issue. Your efforts in maintaining a fair and balanced game environment will not go unnoticed and will be greatly appreciated by the community.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best regards,
A Concerned Chinese Player
This is a problem in every game on the market. It's nearly impossible to stay ahead of the bots.

with the current number being less that 40k players again, I'm pretty sure more than 50% is bots.
if GGG removed those, they'd have such low numbers shareholders would leave and they'd have to fire Jonathan or let both games die...
Pretty sure Jonathan likes his job at TENCENT

I agree. I've found that a lot of people use the game's two-player mode, using a controller to control two characters under one account, one character is responsible for killing monsters, and the other character is generally a Ritualist (which can have a lot of rarity), which makes it easy for them to get high-quality equipment. I'm guessing most players don't do it that way.
Even more egregious is the automated scripting tool mentioned above.
The most I've seen is a lot of streamers running multiple characters in one person, and getting a lot of high-quality gear in delirium.

or if someone is confirmed bot: just force them in the realm where evryone is a bot and gear that they get in that realm will be not tradable lol.
