" They lie about everything. They even lied about what POE 2 would be. This game is pretty much a scam that could have been released as a POE 1 DLC. |

" The point is to get general feedback and understanding how players feel and what they want. EA doesn't mean they have to release everything by tiny bits until it is full (disastrous idea to be honest). Good example of how EA worked well: BG3. EA 1 Act only - three years in that state with some changes to Act 1 and then full release. |

Can't have nice things when people complain about nerfs all the time. Now we have to wait.

" BG3 is great indeed... still Act 3 is bloated, some (if not most) sidequests would be better explored/replayable if scattered in Acts 1 and 2. |

Even if they don't release content at a fast pace, they should at least to something like a balance patch every week. As many people have mentioned, this is EA... so it should be treated like EA.
I want this game to be great. Withholding changes, nerfs/balances included, because some players complain seems like a bad idea. Nerf everything. Nerf frequently. Let the players test it so the game can approach a better balanced state as soon as possible. This is EA. Rapid changes (including nerfs/balances) are part of the natural development cycle of EA... nerf things every day. Weekly balance patches at least show the player base that the game is constantly being developed. |

They need to balance and fix thing yea.
The problem with massive build nerfing is there's still so much point they need to address to make the game fully enjoyable first. Like making the switch to another build smoother and easier (Like with easy to access required stat on loot and etc). If they just keep hammering down on the frustrating part of the game they will just lose people before they even finish balancing thing. I understand that it's something needed, but that was a wise thing to back off of doing it while the community is so split between the global state of the game. |

The pace of Early Access updates is certainly slower than I had initially hoped or expected. They are possibly holding things back so that the v0.2 update is more substantial.
Still, I got a lot of enjoyment out of this $30 EA supporter pack already so I will let GGG cook. It's probably better for them to release things when they're actually ready rather than making constant tweaks on the live server which would undoubtedly cause a lot of drama in the community. Some people might disagree, but really there's no winning strategy when it comes to rabid fanbases. You know what they say..."You're out of luck until you've gone duck!"

" So a game with a brand new engine. Brand new campaign. Brand new cutscenes. 12 classes 36 ascendancies is a scam and a DLC? You sir are delusional and entitled. | |
" Yes. GGG bit off way more than they can chew with the release schedules they initially announced, and they know that. They have admitted as much several times in several different ways. It takes time to recruit and organize the development talent for a studio expansion of the scale they went for, and they are learning that lesson the hard way...but they are learning it. |
