This is Delve. The pinnacle of PoE.

It doesn't try to waste your time.
It adds a sense of exploration even though it's just a randomly generated graph.
It pushes your build to the limit and beyond, IF you want it.
It doesn't have you collect a billion splinters to do its content.
It only wants you to have fun.

This is PoE2 atlas. It tries to look like Delve but lacks any of its positive qualities. Do not be like PoE2 atlas.

Better yet, be like the POE1 Atlas. And have Delve as an option.

Nah PoE1 atlas is pure cancer. All the bad parts of PoE2 atlas come from it.

I love delve. Please just bring it back in its entirety. You can keep your current map system if you want, as long as I can mostly ignore it and just do delve.
I really hope they never put ANY infinity kind of content in this game.

Last Epoch Infinity Corruption, D3 inifnity paragon levels are all shit stuff and TERRIBLE LAZY design that only serves to distance broken chars from bad chars.

If there are chars that kill arbiter in 5 sec and my char is slow and kill in 10 min, i dont mind. However, if one char can go to to places were my char cant go because of BETTER SKILLS, or for being not melee, i go rage easily.

What would happen if there is an infinit level dungeon, and a MONK would be in 10000lv now and a warrior only in 130lv? What kind of mess (worst than now, that is already BAD) would be happening in community?

also strongly feel that Delve is the best endgame concept.

I am so over rolling maps and putting them in and rolling more maps and putting those in, and adding itemized juice and putting those in and

fiddly exhaustion generator.

I just want to play not scan text for got-cha mods.
Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4.
If they wanted mindless mobile game time waster gameplay they sure did make some perplexing choices and marketing statements for 6 fucking years.
Delve always had one big problem and comically it's one of the problems PoE2 has.

Enemies scale offensively but not defensively. It's important to scale both to create a soft cap for future content. Players balance both their offense and defense to push far as they can.

A few leagues later they can push a little further but you never hit an end point.

I was talking about this in another Topic but they really need to work on the RPG part of ARPG. So many genres have incorporated RPG elements that it's hard to stand out.

The strongest tool an RPG has is immersion.

I think they would do well to avoid "the stand in circle" / "fight on a timer" crap at this point. Create things like mini-Delve within maps. Side treks and secrets for players to explore. Remove this need to spam maps, bosses and finding the shortest completion time.

Delve, heist, incursion, harvest. They were good mechanics.

I think the atlas map in poe2 is ok, they just need a token or something to skip a map (or make map runners do it like in Kingsmarch).

It just needs a lot more polish/ ease of use, bookmarking or whatever, maybe the ability to run the same map again and again without having to resort to avoiding "completion."

The poe atlas tree just superior to poe2. The tree in poe2 is just watered down and if you want to do any content you need to spend divines to get the atlas points so basically it sucks.

I'd rather just specialize in whatever content I want to run.

This is a balancing issue. The gap between worst and best performing builds is lightyears wide and it obviously should not stay like this.

In poe1 i never had any problems in delve on a marauder.
