Lower the difficulty, increase drop rate, give us access to all the game content

I don't understand why so many people feel that players of every skill level should have access to all content in the game. Pinnacle content just gets devalued massively where suddenly the pursuit no longer becomes meaningful or special for those willing to put in the work.
It is just how people are wired these days. Especially in games. They want the path of least resistance, all the rewards and preferably instant gratification. It's how they keep those dopamine spikes coming.
In fact, it seems quite easy to me, I would increase the difficulty of the bosses.
So no thank you.

Nothing wrong to be fully geared, level 100, and progressing through the hardest content, when all is reset when the game is launched.

Food for thought

This right here would nuke early access and people would stop playing after one day. The entire point of the game (hell, most games) for the vast overwhelming majority of players is the journey to GET geared, the journey to GET to 100, and the journey / preparation / farming to be able to beat the toughest bosses.

You would learn nothing from giving everyone maxed out characters. There'd be no reason to play. We'd log in, ignore almost the entire game and go straight to the hardest bosses, global them, then log off.

*very* bad idea.
its a difference between fighting and failing a end content or not reaching it due to no drops to get there. also to get end gear with high prices and no drops at farm to safe up to 200 div.

Its just not possible for casual players.
Also the crafting system of crafting is not usable if you have a normal life.

Having to collect 300 splinters is completely pointless and just an arbitrary number that was not tested. There is really no reason to die on that hill. How it also becomes easier to collect after you have collected the first 300 makes no sense either.

My suggestion, drastically reduce or remove splinters. If you afraid of devaluing, either make the encounter more difficult or introduce a gear check, i.e., a mini-boss, that you need to beat before getting access to the pinnacle boss
Those suggesting that the game is too easy and/or shouldn't be nerfed might have better "skill" or they might just have better luck with "RNG". This game is nothing but RNG. The drop rates for should-be good gear isn't all that bad. I see more rare gear than I can carry. The variables tied to that gear is terrible. We all have the opportunity to loot more Rares than we can carry but most of it has such terrible combinations of stats that it's garbage. Most of it won't sell on the trade market. It certainly doesn't salvage or disenchant for any value. The currency (Divines) needed to go acquire better gear to progress is being guarded too tightly. It will take me a year at the rate I play to afford an Astramentis and I have 375 hours of playtime. I have maybe seen 10 Divine Orbs drop. I run the vast majority of maps on a tier 15 Waystone fully juiced and corrupted on maps that have 4 to 5 overlapping Towers and still my drop rates are atrocious.

Crafting? Not heard of in this game. Just more RNG. Some of you elite endgamers might have been lucky to trigger your BiS gear but a super-majority aren't so lucky.

There is no reason many of the growing concerns and needs of ALL players can't be met. Pinnacle bosses can scale. The entire game can be scaled. Fact is, Precurors and Waystones do just that. If you have it good in the game. If you've managed to achieve great success. Good for you (no sarcasm). Some of us are putting in the "WORK".

I think your confusing item quality, currency trader, 1 shot happy happy builds with skill. This is not a skill based game.

Im completely new to the genre so I was terrible at first. Now engaging in all content making good builds with multiple div gear items. This doesn't have anything to do with skill.

You get used to how things work eventually but it takes far to long to get used to this game.

Its a niche game not designed for a player even remotely casual.

I agree with OP that this is the hardest game I have ever played. Many times harder than elden ring and it has nothing to do with skill. Not sure why this current poe2 is like this but its difficult because it doesn't work for the most part.

It is an Early Access, PoE 2 is by far the most difficult game I ever played.

Why not lowering the difficulty and increase the drop rate, so we can access all the content, including highest endgame?

---YOU WIN---

Here you go. Now you can go to another challenging game and ask the same. Good luck.
PoE2 is clearly meant to be an early D2 inspired game. Heck the plots are basically the same so far. OG D2 was way more unfair than this game with experience gain and loss. I have had *days* of exp grinding wiped out by a bad combination of affixes on a named rare enemy.

The Death Knights used to be a legitimate terrifying threat when you had to rely on socketed gems... no runewords, no trading sites or auction houses. You relied on trade chat. And hope to the maker you didnt lag out because your dialup connection timed out when you were in the middle of a fight.

Oh and if all that wasnt bad enough, you could drop everything in your inventory when you died and if you were really lucky there was a glitch that caused all your equipment to pop and become public loot.

Even after bonuses etc, a lot of people quit before ever getting a character to max level. This game is a free throw compared to OG D2 in difficulty and punishing you for death.
