It would not be hard for GGG to respond to this rumour in this forum, indeed thread too.

I watched that interview last night and there was absolutely NOTHING. Not a single word. They don’t even have the spine to ask the real questions. Are you kidding me? It’s obvious they’re being told ahead of time what not to ask. It’s pathetic.

At this point, we need someone from real players side a real representative of the actual players, someone who isn’t afraid to push back to do these interviews. Otherwise, it’s just another scripted stage show, nothing more.

I am all fine with that kind of statement: '' we will do it but as last thing before release ''

Everyone wants to praise streamers for their softball interviews "Is this a great game, or the greatest game Jonathan?" - none of these streamers has the guts or integrity to push GGG on this or even ask.

People don't talk anyway, they just join - trade - leave. And they don't care about bargaining price, you take it or leave it. So don't bullsh** with social or economic advantages.

But all considered, it still wouldn't be enough for me to care. What is the most annoying is typing to 20 people and only 1 responds. After 10 minutes. Wow, amazing social system.

This strikes me as just a stupid attempt to justify things they either don't care about, or to put the wrong spin on things they don't want.

The OG reason for not having even a trade list site way back in early poe1 was that the creators are against it. They eventually caved just enough to cash in on I premium stashes, and they've even improved the system so that the game knows where the item is, and on console i think it can be traded without the seller removing it from stash, just in a window?

Not sure, but it seems like they could just connect those dots and allow offline sales.

I personally just threw up my hands and went back to a game with an AH. And you know what? People still trade in chat channel. If they ever come into the 21st century, I'll be glad to come back and spend my money here instead

Streamers? The people who make this a job and depend on having access to crap they can show to keep numbers up? Why would you expect anything at all out of them? That's kind of one issue i have with this game, people are video based. I have way too much ADHD to have the patience to watch their rambling video nonsense, i need to read.
