This means that 0.2.0 will take one month?

pretty sure they did it because people were unhappy, but i guess we can always dig deeper

"That expansion" refers to 3.26.0, and they specify "to start". They shared nothing related to when 0.2.0 will release.

Honestly they are so slow with poe2 updates, we're 2 months in with broken builds, broken economy and lacking endgame, performance issues etc.
Wish they had atleast small updates that fixes stuff in poe2 |

" They believe in big bundles of updates instead of smaller weekly updates, because small updates don't trigger players return. I personally would probably prefer weekly updates too. Dernière édition par Suchka_777#4336, le 3 févr. 2025 03:00:10

" I think I’d prefer that too. At least we feel like this game still has a pulse. |

Weekly updates would SUSTAIN the playerbase. If you just focus on big updates to big updates, obviously people would quit the game since there is nothing happening. No balance patch, no changes, nothing new. What's the point of keep going? But if they do weekly updates or even update every 2 weeks work too, you would sustain the playerbase.
PoE 2 receives nothing and it's a brand new game. At least they should just go for a small new content update with economy reset and balance changes. 70% of the players would come back, the game was fun enough to keep playing. They just confirmed that they have given some staff to poe1 which will slow the process of poe2. I think we will be getting the new league patch in 3 months from now on. I don't know what to say, it's weird. Dernière édition par Kage#1250, le 3 févr. 2025 03:07:12

There is something in large cycles too though, because this way players have time to play other games and will not burn out by playing one game all the time. When you return to game with weekly updates, you need to catch up new things and will be a bit behind at first, while with only large updates everyone is on the same page, feels a little better this way. Overall, both ways have upsides and downsides. But for the first 2-3 months of EA, when game is not established yet, waiting for the large update in the silence feels bad.

Of course it will take at least one month. Do you think he would have went to make a video about it if they would be able to deliver it next week?

" Why so many players think that is relevant? Seriously.. for a game that is NOT MP sustained cosntant player base is not relevant. IF it comes back in cycles it is more than enough.. and in fact cheaper for the company. Do YOU, as an individual lose anything if mr Joe somewhere else in world decide to play another game for 2 weeks? NO.. Do GGG loses soemthing? No! |
