Either put something to remove burning ground from maps or get rid of it..i simply throw away maps with it since its so infuriating dying to something so mind numbing.

If the burning ground modifier gives you so much trouble, I would suggest that your build is garbage, and not the modifier itself. But of course, it's someone else's fault, never your own. :)

At max fire res, it does close to 2k ehp dmg per second, thats not a build issue, thats an over tuning issue. My Monk with close to 10k ehp cant risk getting frozen or stunned on burning ground because it will straight up kill him.

Once this mod is attached, almost all but a few builds will be unworkable or painful maps.
The burning area ground mod should either adjust the amount of damage or make it a debuff like the electrocution area.
We are not fighting the floor.

And my monk, with max fire res (75%), can stand it in from 2100 hp for about 4.5 seconds...
So where's the disconnect?

AFAIK, it is map tier/area level dependent. In a t10 map, it does next to nothing, in a t16 with irridation/corruption, its a death sentence

I think it can be okay on certain maps, like Sandspit or Savanah. Maps with good visibility that give the player room to move.
But most of the maps aren't like that, and yeah, it is typically an auto-recycle mod.

On this particular part I agree. But then again, that is what is intended right? For it to be dangerous if you get "stuck" in it. You do understand mechanics are in place to take hp away from you, not heal you in the maps right?

Im ok with dangerous, but its overtuned. In high tier maps, max res, simply running over it to path can deal a significant amount of damage to energy shield, its more dangerous that corrupted blood/pooled blood on the ground, and WAY more dangerous that any poison, and im not even Chaos capped on my monk and id rather run through poison and blood over burning ground
