Orbs of Regret - can we have them?

I dont like gold for respeccing. I've always preferred orbs of regret and thought Kalguur league in poe1 was great for having 2 options of respeccing passive points.
The gold system helps with respeccing at lower levels but that was never an issue for me as I knew regrets could be farmed/bought from npc's easily enough. My issues comes from the costs of respeccing at level ~90, and im aware that the respec costs have already been reduced since december. I like experimenting with dumb build ideas which means i probably respec more often than most (4,000,000 gold in last 3 days just on respecs/tuning). I've been farming mountain nodes with +100-150% gold waystones and still feel starved for gold to try out ideas. This was never an issue for me in PoE1. It was easy enough to save up a few hundred orbs or up-cycle lower tier currency if need be. Maybe Doryani could accept exalts for respeccing points? With how much gold i'm burning through I'd happily spend 5-10 exalts per passive point at this point. (1ex would be nice). Dernier bump le 2 févr. 2025 20:47:54

100% in fav of Regret orbs coming back, but for exact opposite reasons to OP

You need to start vendor selling waystones 1-12 orbed and regaled, you can get 4-8k gold per waystone, I'm earning about 40-100k gold just from one map (ws+items) so the gold is not that hard to get at highter levels.

Just a bit lower Gold cost would be enough, don't need to bring Orbs or Regret back.
The current way is way easier for beginners to get into the game. |

im making more gold per day, that i could fully respec my char many times, whitout even using gold maps. it seems you run maps to slow ? ofcose depends how much you play per day.
