ok poe1 is delayed but where is our balance patch?

It´s been 2 months and all we got was a small patch that literally fixed nothing. I cant believe im saying this but Diablo 4 team is doing a better job at this point or at the very least as bad of a job.

I also can't believe that they're doing worse than the Diablo 4 dev team.

If they plan to release the game after a year of Early Access, in the deplorable state that it is in, and with 1 insignificant update per month or every 2 months, they're going to have a huge surprise at the end of the year.

I mean two surprises. The last one is seeing that the number of PoE2 players will be at the same level as Concord.

It seems that China's Tencent is obviously not rich. GGG needs to find a capital system with more funds than Tencent. Why don't I help them try to find a Ferengi capital company? They should be very interested in pursuing profits and have huge funds. I will contact Deep Space Nine's informant now.LOL

Before launch, interview with anybody and everybody almost daily.. launch. Vanished.

I was expecting MUCH MUCH more from GGG with POE2. Weekly balance patches, maybe even monthly content adds.. but what we got? SILENCE.

i even remember them saying in an interview " we are going to release content at an accelerated pace"

the poor timing of their vacation right after launch paired with how unbalanced the game is certainly doesnt help the amtter.

the need to start doing balancing changes, keep new content for every 3 months if you want but start doing changes

In 5 months, maybe we'll have a patch that balances this whole gigantic mess called PoE2.

And in 5 years, maybe there'll be a patch that actually brings new content.

And in 10 years, maybe the loot in this game will be at least decent.

GGG really thought they were better than Blizzard, with player numbers at launch lower than D4 at launch.

Result: They created a game that's worse than D4. And with less transparency and communication than Blizzard (something that deserves an award for).

I guess this is just some sort of edgy narrative thats meant to "shame" GGG into posting news but wow...

Like you do know D4 launched a new season just a few days ago, and almost no one gave a shit, POE2 is in month 2 and hasn't had anything new and is currently doubling up on D4 viewership on twitch.

I mean granted D4 is for casuals and is just a bad game and has far less twitch views because of that. But holy shit. I think D4's New season day 1 and 2 twitch numbers were higher than POE2's week 7 or 8 numbers for like a couple days and have been around half since then.

viewership on twitch doesnt mean anything other than streamers with a big community are streaming the game

Like when quin steel ziz and mathil all decide to stream d4 instead of poe tomorrw than d4 will probably have triple the viewcount as poe, does that say anything about how good the game is ? no

Basically, D4 is great if you don't want to think about the game you're playing, or care about the game you're playing, but even in its current state PoE2 is a better game.

That said, I'm choosing to see the current forum fire as evidence of a passionate player base, and I'm fair certain that GGG would rather have passionate players, however salty they may be, rather than apathetic ones. As would I, for all that it can make the forum an occasionally unpleasant experience.

We're going to play another game. And not have to put up with a developer worse than Blizzard.
PoE2 will soon die like PoE1, and it's all because of the GGG devs who are extremely lazy. They had more than a month off right after releasing "the game of their lives", and they come back with a big patch that doesn't solve any serious endgame problems, hard crashes on PCs and no new content.

We're getting the hell out of this game, and never giving money to GGG again, that's for sure.

As the video said, they are working on 0.2.0 right now, and I assume it must be a rather big patch since they are still keeping the PoE devs on it. As for when it comes out, I assume it will come out when it's ready. As he said, after that they'll probably spend a week or two ready to hotfix and patch up issues introduced with 0.2.0, before they put some focus back on getting the PoE patch out the door. I'm glad we got an update indirectly through the PoE video. It is seemingly a bigger patch, and it's currently focused on. Sometime in February maybe? It'll be here when it's ready. If I get tired of current PoE2, I'll just do something else for a bit until the patch comes out. At least this game doesn't have any stupid dailies and such nonsense to trigger FOMO for not playing for a while. Can put it down and pick it up again later.
