AMD 9800x3d Crashes whole PC

Might be the 9800x3D.
Might be the 4070Ti.

Only way to be sure is to gather crash reports from users with different components and see what's more common to all of them.

Literally JUST upgraded from an i7-9700k to a 9800x3d yesterday. Still on my old 2070s. Was playing since launch with no crashes at all. Crashed probably 5-6 times since I've been on the 9800x3d in just a few hours of gameplay.

Definitely something funky going on with the game and this specific cpu.

Until AMD releases a driver, You're probably out of luck. Try adjusting how many cores the games allowed to use etc.

Not a single crash yet with 5700X3D and RTX 4060 yet - i guess the game is not yet optimized for that brand new 9800X3D processor.

Get rid of 24H2 Windows update and you will fix your issue.

9800x3d crashing with 50/50 chance when loading into a map.

I just built 9800x3d with msix870 tomahawk corsair vegeance 64gb 6000mhz and it crashes up to 1 hr or over. Unfortunetly same with poe 2...
