Feedback on Death penalties
you find a mirror, you die for what ever reason during campaign, Mirror and exp lost Not fun
you die half way through a map, Map and exp lost, not fun ( only 1 chance)
triple the punishment is horrible, lost map and lost exp should be more than enough
Solution to 1 death on maps
when all party members are dead all monster in map disappears and you can go down and collect from what you killed, you failed the map, and you can no longer get more loot from it BUT what you have earned is still yours till all 6 portals have been spent
i can live with that
dying in campaign shouldnt reset the entire area and remove the loot that has been dropped,reset the bosses and mini bosses to full health instead, its the campaign FCOL come on
Do players in party in maps get to revive each other infinitely ? if so why not give us our portals?

Reward completion of map the other 50% XP.
Turns a Penalty (Negative) into a Reward (Positive)
Progress is slowed if dying, but is not going backwards.
A compromise..

One idea I like is to have a tombstone appear if you re-run a map and maybe it would have an inventory of items that were left behind on your last run, plus some of the experience back?

A compromise..
Such a great idea. Could be coupled with removing the 1 death portal. Replace that with the reward if you didn't die. So you could die 2x and still complete the map, but only gain half the XP. Players don't feel like garbage from losing the map, players feel like they need to do better to chase the reward(as opposed to penalty).
Compensation is a much better motivator than punishment and this fixes that!

not a bad idea, but personally i would rather give up my lost exp if it means i can get back in to the map and pick up the loot that dropped
and if there is still mobs i hadnt killed, just remove them all so it is only a map with loot that has been earned and nothing else
