Remove or rework the delirium fog

"
You really think the mechanic is good? I think delirium is just breach with white fog

I really like the "arcade" design of it, going faster as possible to make it ramp up harder. And monsters are easier to handle than breach.
I agree with this point the fog is too much and it is annoying to spot attacks or enemies.

It should be reduced.

just add an option to toggle on off the fog in the setting would solve everything

It's an odd design decision, have a wide variety of maps and then make them all the same shade of grey in the end game with the same music.

You could make the whole flag of the community with the waystone colors but they turn everything grey?

Also can't see ground, and I already can't see ground with my build
I love the technical aspect of adding emotions to my maps but holy hell, it sometimes more than halves my fps. Game runs well for me on non-delirious maps but once the damn fog is there, I go from 60-70 fps to like 25. And if abyss starts spitting out monsters, I go to an actual slideshow [and yes, the abyss effects are fine for me outside of the fogged maps].

Please, for the love of all that is holy, just give us a toggle. Lore is great and all, but playability should always come first.

I am actually surprised this problem was there un-solved all this time from PoE1 [I started playing in 2].

tl;dr toggle plz, I'll buy more stash tabs frfr

No toggle. Remove the desaturation shader effect, keep the wind to show direction.

Same with breach. Get rid of the expensive color shader and just show the circle.

GGG has a bad habit of obtrusive, game altering, unneeded effects. Harass them until they stop.

Really. I once watched Chris do an interview where he talked about visual clarity with examples from PoE 1. You couldn't see sh*t. These folks have a blind spot here.
