The currency exchange system didnt ruin the game and neither would a proper way to buy and sell items at a market board just like the currency exchange , theres a layer of peoplewho want to keep it like it is because they sell items for real money a market board would help to elimanate that.

" Ehhh - most of the RMT is for raw currency. I am not saying that there aren't people selling top end uniques and rares for real money, but that's a tiny tiny market. A single look at any RMT site will show that. Raw currency is what moves. Players buy divines and go trading in game. An AH would not have meaningful impact in that space when it comes to RMT. |

" I understand your concern, but just because it was poorly implemented in Diablo doesn’t mean it will be the same in Path of Exile 2. There are good examples of this system being done right. Besides, isn’t it amazing to be able to sell your item even when you’re offline or to buy an item with the exact stats you’re looking for from someone who is offline? Isn’t being forced to stay online all the time just to sell or buy items one of the most restrictive and frustrating things about the current system? You’re someone who loves this game, and so am I. I’d really like to hear your thoughts and understand why you’re against this idea in more detail. |

GGG has stated clearly why they don't want to make an auction house. Read their trade manifesto and you might begin to understand why that's not a good thing for the game.
Incidentally, every ARPG that has a functional auction house is a dead game. But PoE that hasn't had an auction house for over 10 years have players coming back with every new league. Maybe you should try to understand where GGG is coming from first? |

+1 The ppl against it just had 1 game where it was "bad. Or are just afraid to lose there way to scam ppl. No saine person would be against a AH.

Trade league already ruins the experience for anyone who uses it, and the auction house would completely obliterate the experience for every single casual gamer that ever installs PoE because the effort of getting an item the normal way (which, btw, right now is nearly perfect except that we need the craft bench or something minor to help tweak items) vs the effort of just going to the auction house every 5 minutes to buy a perfect item is completely skewed.
Trading is literally cheating, and it completely ruins the entire game. The only thing that makes it acceptable is the fact that it's a chore. Either keep trade the way it is, or completely disable it. Dernière édition par Kashou#2868, le 10 janv. 2025 14:00:46

We definitly need a trading system, people are using daiblo as an example not to have an AH, but GGG can learn from their mistakes. Also a trading system doesn't need to be an AH, i have seen much older games with other trading system that worked just fine
